What an incredible experience, easily the best pizza I've eaten in Edinburgh. Amazing and friendly staff who catered to our needs with a smile. Roberto and Lukasz were phenomenal!!! Thanks chaps!

The pizza from this place was truly delicious. We’ve been meaning to try Matto for a couple of years and now so regret not having gone earlier. We had #10 and #11 and they were both fantastic. The unusual sweet and spicy flavour of the #10 pepperoni chilly honey pizza with some nduja aioli was the highlight though. We also appreciated how they included greaseproof paper under the pizza which makes it possible to recycle the pizza boxes after - nice touch! We will be coming back soon.

In Edinburgh’s pizza realm, a slice divine, Matto’s awaits, a taste so fine… no matter where you’re at in the city, this pizza is worth the drive. If you arrive and they tell you there’s a wait, sit down and get comfortable because this pizza is WORTH the wait. We ordered the specials number 2 pizza with apples, pecans, and goats cheese and this pizza is now in my top 5 best pizzas of all time. Simply the best ingredients, the best music, and super friendly and chill staff.

You cannot possibly not love the people that have the best pizza in Edinburgh. I have given up on pizza for a long time up until I found Matto. Super great base and the most fresh ingredients. Highly recommended! I definitely recommend the margarita as it has the nicest tomato sauce ever and the one with the mushrooms, truffle rockets. I have been ordering it for months and months.

We stopped in here for a late dinner while visiting Edinburgh on holiday. The service was very helpful and friendly and the pizza was full of flavour and how are you would expect a genuine Italian pizza to be like.
We were very impressed and we’ll definitely come back next time visiting Edinburgh.

Mostly take out, as are most pizza joints now it seems. Great pizza, solidly recommend #10, not too spicy though. #3 and #13 are also great. The foccacia is about the size of a pizza and tastes great too so that is a good deal for 2 or more people.

The quality control and consistency of this place blows my mind. The dough is the best dough I’ve ever tasted. The crust dip is insane.
I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life and this place, without a shadow of a doubt, is the best I’ve ever eaten. Certainly in Edinburgh.
