The sandwiches at the pub quiz are great as that's the food the service.
Service and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and professional. It's a friendly pub and everyone is welcome. I highly recommend the quiz on a Thursday 50pp entry but that includes sandwiches and a chance of winning at least £50. Adam's questions can however be a bit questionable but the forfeit round makes it a lot more interesting.

Just wanted to say how much my family enjoyed our afternoon meeting up at The Kingsknowe. We used the function room which is really nice and gave our kids lots of room to get about. Prices were great - a lovely rose was £14. The stag were welcoming and very attentive. Thanks again

Refurbished, looks really nice inside and out with plenty seating. Staff inviting and friendly. Really busy when sun is shining, good atmosphere and the bottled cider went down a treat. Definitely be back as it's a great stop off along canal for a quick refreshment.
