Lunch Quest

Anima currently has a crackin' lunchtime deal on the go, with pasta or pizza for £3.99. This is highly impressive given both the quality and range on offer. I'd strongly urge you to check it out.

We concluded by saying: "I’d be happy to recommend a visit to Anima. Their current lunch deal is excellent value so definitely merits a try. I’ll need to head back and give their pizza a try, next time my lunchtime appetite extends to that."

We ordered 2 pizzas from menu. The website allowed us to change the set toppings (my kids won't eat mushrooms..). Pizzas arrived quickly. The sourdough base is excellent. Toppings were fresh and tasty. The sausage was delicious. Price is very reasonable too. All in all, fantastic pizzas and fantastic service at a reasonable price. Truly the best pizzas we ever ate!!

Had 2 delicious, hot pizza's. Wild mushrooms superb. Had a small issue with owner a couple of years ago when I complained about a cold pizza and felt was handled badly but glad I gave it another chance. If only my complaint had been dealt with better I wouldn't have left it so long.

Delivered on time and absolutely delicious. Parents had the sage & onion fish and were very impressed. And I had, hands down, the best Chip Shop haggis I've ever tasted. Will be ordering from these guys again. And again.

Fantastic food from here - pizza base tastes great with fantastic toppings. One of the best I've tried in a long time. Lombardo pasta was just as good as well! Definitely going to be ordering from here again.

I would highly recommend Anima, I have never been disappointed with their food. Very friendly family run business that offer a wide range of delicious italian foods. I especially love their pastas/pizzas and salads. I have always been super impressed on how clean and immaculate the place is which is very reassuring!

Probably the best pizza place in town!! Most places i have been to make me feel very bloated after having their pizza, but Anima's pizza was delicous and not heavy on the stomach. Also the service and welcoming smile from the staff and Gino himself always makes me feel happy to go back.

My wife and I are from the Chicago area and travel to Britain very often as we have lots of friends and relatives there. We stumbled upon Anima a few years ago and gave it a try. First of all, the place is VERY clean.....even immaculate. The selection and quality of the food is also superb. We now go back to this fine establishment every time we visit Edinburgh! Awesome food and great, friendly people working there make Anima an excellent place to eat!

When visiting Anima, not only I enjoy eating traditional Italian food (their pasta dishes are delicious), but the staff there are fantastic. And it's also comforting to see that you have born and bred Italians running the business who also visits Italy occasionally and brings back high-quality products that you will never find in the supermarket. You can clearly see that he is passionate about Italian food.
