Bangers Cafe

There is almost equal space inside as there is out on the wide pavement. Popular spot, especially on sunny days. A nice atmosphere is created with the neighbouring cafes. We lounged for 2 hours continually ordering tea’s, sandwiches, soup then cakes. Bread is delicious, plentiful fillings, big slices & will adapt where they can. A few unusual tea flavours such as lavender & roiboos. It’s appreciated that the cakes are covered & not put in the open. Flavoured cheesecakes have a twist on the traditional with flavours. Petite Polish waitress (didn’t catch her name) was attentive & chatted with us without being over bearing. The trams do pass & make their ding but this is lost in the gentle chatter of folks enjoying their food. Their new cafe in Portobello is just as good & opens later.
