A decent restaurant. We could order a customised pizza which was served fresh and tasty. The falafel was not fresh so we returned it. The fish and chips were good . The staff was really courteous.

Their services were terrible, never been to an restaurant worser than this one. Staffs especially the boss, were extremely rude. Had such a horrible experience there and will never go back again. Had to wait for the food for longer than 20 minutes and it wasn't worth that price either. Highly not recommended!

One of the places that you can find food after 22:00 near old town as most of the places close the kitchen. Nice fish and chips as well as they have some Turkish and Middle Eastern specialities such as Doner Kebab and Falafel.

We popped into Uncle's Fish & Chips for warmth and a quick bite while waiting for the torchlight procession to begin. Far too many people had the same idea and the place was heaving. Nevertheless, the waiters were very friendly and patient and seem unfazed - perhaps this happens a lot. We ordered a 12inch Mexicana pizza to share and it arrived in about 10ish minute. The pizza was good - the husband was more impressed that I was as I'm not a pizza addict. The place looked clean ( although I did not check out the loos) and had had plenty of interesting fast food choices ranging from middle eastern offerings such as shawarma to more local haggis burgers and bonbons. Good for a pit stop I think.

Uncle's AMAZING falafel wrap!!. Uncle's falafel wrap is truly delicious. The falafels crumble perfectly, and the salad (lettuce, onions, tomatoes, carrot, cabbage) is fresh and flavoursome. The sauce is refreshing and really ties the whole wrap together, while the chilli garlic sauce (optional) is the perfect combination of spice and flavour, and gives a tasty kick to the wrap without being overpowering. The price is also very reasonable.<br/><br/>If you're in Edinburgh you have to try one of these- I make sure to get one every time I visit!
