it was first rate evening meal and the breakfast buffet . Both were well prepaid and no waiting to be served even though it was quiet busy. the staff nice and helpful the whole time would definitely go back again
It was lovely, the food was very nice and the staff were very helpful I will definitely go again.
We had a two for one meal voucher so our bill was extremely cheap for eating out. Prices for the main menu are reasonable even without the discount. Food is lovely with large portions. Service was quick and staff are friendly.
Busy restaurant adjacent to the Premier Inn. It's very reasonably priced and the food is decent to be fair - very tasty. My wife had Tikka curry with rice and I had steak & ale pie with mash. It was good honest food at a decent price.
Continental breakfast the following morning was extremely busy but everything a traveller needs was provided. Coffee, cereal, toast, bacon, eggs, beans, fruit, yogurt, juice - all available.
Spacious interior, nice bar area in the evening and helpful staff do their best. It was clear that the staff were rushed off their feet, but they are friendly and helpful.
This was convenient as we were staying in the Premier Inn next door. We were seated fairly quickly and then ordered our food at the bar. We ordered two meals and drinks. One meal being fish and chips and the other was the chicken combo. The food came quick enough and was nice and hot and served in a friendly manner. The food went down a treat after walking all day round Edinburgh. They forgot the side we ordered but brought it out quickly after we mentioned it. All in all it was a good meal.
I go here often. It is perfect if you have children not just because it has a play area but because of the relaxed atmosphere.
I was very impressed with the service at this brewers fayre speaking with the manager Loudis who was extremely helpful and understanding to knowing I review restaurants. I really can recommend eating here as to service. I did try to use a valid voucher code and did not work online on the payment till. The manager went the extra mile to help me to be honest. All I can say is go and visit see for yourself. Customer service overall was acceptable. The location and views are amazing here on the sea front with the lighthouse that's a positive for me and including the food and desserts and meeting the amazing manager of this restaurant I am going by her professionalism on the star rating.
Went for a kid's birthday party. They had soft play, which is good to know about. Plenty of space with a dedicated room for the kids table and gifts, cake, decorations. The venue offered jugs of juice and a good selection of food choices for the kids and sizeable portions. The atmosphere was a weird mix of kids play area with a pub/budget hotel feel but rated decently on this due to the dedicated party space and not being busy with other kids / families at the time. Service could be improved as there should have been face painting but though we waited for it, they only managed one kid at the very end and it was pretty comic (not in a good way). And then they were quite pushy and rude at the end ushering even though my boy had been waiting since the beginning to get his face painted. So a mixed review.. a good option for a kids party in terms of food and a fun space with privacy but the staff attitude could be improved, as well as making sure drinks are replenished and services included with the party are actually delivered. Can't comment on the menu for those dining in.
Wonderfully hospitable and efficient staff who handled our cruise group admirably. Cannot speak highly enough of their friendliness. Ale was also top notch.
Was nice place.I wish there were more personnel.
Great place to take the kids. Couldn't get them of the soft play long enough to eat their food. Good food, friendly staff. Would go there again.
Food was good, but they need for sure more Staff
Nice place for dine in and great nearby environment.
Good service, clean and wasn't too busy
