3.8🌟 Coffee☕ is OK, nothing to write home about it, and the cakes are not cheap to say the least. Years ago there was also food served but now it's mainly ☕ and 🍰. Decent furnishings with an outdoor seating era that is adjacent to Inverleith House.

Tasty gluten free and vegan pea and mint soup served with gluten free oatcakes and chilli jam. Very helpful member of staff checked allergens. Lovely sitting outside at picnic tables. Just under £13 for lunch for the two of us.

Lovely place for afternoon tea. Ideal to spend your afternoon reading indoors or outdoors with a nice coffee and a lovely sweet treat. My fav!

Stopped in for a drink and bite to eat while on a trip with my college. Had a nice can of Thistle Cross Elderberry cider and a rather poor quiche. The tomatoes in it were raw so it was full of water, the woman behind the counter did give me 2 cakes to make up for it though so all good.

the queue was quite long and they had run out of the sandwich that most appealed to me. we sat outside at one of the benches with a parasol and it was quite peaceful and inside also looked nice. the toilets were quite decent from what i remember

We didn't have food, so no rating. My herbal tea was very nice. It's a nice place but it can get noisy.

This is an extremely expensive cafe, with teeny-tiny coffees, but it is bringing in money for the free entry gardens, so I’ll not grudge them their money! The range of cakes is great, with many unusual but tasty combinations of flavours. The coffees are really quite small, so do be aware of that. Despite being at the top of the hill, the views from here aren’t great, but it’s nice enough.

Limited menu, but what they offered was good. Can get busy, with a bit of a queue to get served.
