One of the best place's I have been in a while. The staff were very attentive, and explained all the different gins. The food was amazing. Would recommend.

Nice setting and a great choice of gins and cocktails but as the bat man said the beer choice is rubbish (but he did promise to try to do better next week - maybe that's when they get taken over )

Good if you like a bit of a buzz and don't mind non-quiet background music. There's good booths, they'll sit about 6 people. One for the end of the night, rather than a quiet drink.

Arguably the place in Edinburgh now for gin. Massive selection of about 70 gins, both Fever Tree and Fentimans tonics, and serves range from mint to lemon twist and strawberry. The staff all seem very knowledgeable about their gin. If you love gin you'll love Mother's.
