During my initial visit to Edinburgh, I had the pleasure of dining at this fish and chips shop. The staff members, a gentleman and a lady, were exceptionally warm and welcoming. They efficiently took orders and served the food promptly, ensuring minimal waiting time.
The fish and chips, which I often complemented with some scampi, were not only tasty but also reasonably priced given the quality of the food. I enjoyed my meals here in the company of friends, making use of the provided cutlery. Despite its modest size, this establishment offers a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience that I highly recommend checking out.

Popped in here tonight with my son, he had a half fish supper with a drink and I had large chips. The fish was freshly made and was delicious and the chips were yummy. If you are in the area, I'd definitely recommend here as it's good food and good prices.

Great fish and chips! Came at the recommendation of another friend and it did not disappoint. The owner’s son was very friendly and chatted with me about Edinburgh. Definitely worth adding to your list of you are traveling and want good Scottish fish and chips!

We ordered two fish suppers and they were very fresh and tasty. Good size portions too.
It was a very busy evening but the service was really good with very friendly staff and quite fast service considering how busy they were.

1 man show! Salvatore serves one of the best fish and chips in town! Nice crisp batter. Not oily. Good portion of chips. Limited seating for sit-in. Closes at 1.30pm

I can only echo the reviews already done . The food is excellent every time and delivered boiling hot . I am not that close to them either so getting food that hot is impressive . Friendly driver shows appreciation for the regular custom . Highly recommended. If you haven't ordered your missing out

What I loved about Salvatore's was the freshly fried fish and chips at a great price. It was £9.99 for a haddock fish and chips supper. We waited for our supper it was well worth the wait.
It's been a long time since I've had a hot freshly fried supper. This was truly appreciated delight with the good service we sat in and dined.
Cutlery and sauce were on a clean table. The shop was clean and airy and we had a nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.
