THE best sweets order ever! I fancied some icecream, saw this menu, ordered a safron icecream & a rose icecream plus a mixed dessert. Weekend sorted! But wow...just had the rose icecream....Delicious with capital D. Can't wait till tomorrow to taste the safron icecream 😋

This is a lovely and hidden gem in Edinburgh that is so authentic and well prepared Kurdish and Middle Eastern specialties. The owner is a Kurd and a warm host who cares about each and every person that he and his staff feed. You can also order takeout. Well worth the visit. Situated right next to the University of Edinburgh, and nearby to the lovely Meadows gardens.

Had to be in Edinburgh on business so went in here on spec. So glad we did!!!!!! Lovely atmosphere friendly, professional staff and the food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. My husband had kofta and I had chicken, we both had rice. There was a large plateful each and a small dish of spinach and one of okra along with a large, fresh, nan. We were stuffed!!!!! It is not overpriced and it is a neat, clean restaurant. A hidden jewel practically next door to the Mosque. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly make the 180 mile round trip to eat here again. Gorgeous Kurdish - Iraqi food. Thank you all at Erbil for a wonderful dining experience.

Had their Qozy Gosht, Baklawa Mix and Mango Sorbet delivered on Christmas because all the other places are closed and I wanted to try something new. 20 minutes later and my mind was blown. The lamb was cooked to perfection. Melts in your mouth, moist, tender. The rice was really good, coming from somebody from China who’s had rice my entire life. The Baklawa Mix was pretty sweet, but it hits the exact spot you’d want it to hit. Pastry audibly crisp, and thin as the wing of a fly. That combined with the sumptuous syrup, nuts, and chewy bits at the bottom was divine. Mango Sorbet was incredible too, although I don’t know how to describe that one.

We are very happy that we found this restaurant in Edinburgh. The food was very delicious 😋, fair prices and very friendly staff . Their kofta kebab and nan bread were fresh and had the Kurdish authentic cooking taste.will definitely return back.
