Konj Cafe

Had the nicest experience here and most delicious food. As an Iranian I loved that the menu included some classics but also modern twists on traditional dishes as well as delicious brunch and breakfast options. I had the Nargesi and Baklava, both were absolutely delicious. The owner and staff are super warm and kind, the Café feels like a piece of home. Will immediately come back next time I'm in Edinburgh. 10/10 recommend

Everything here, drinks, plates, glasses, the menu, and the food presentations are sooooo beautiful! Stunning! Be open to try the magic combination of flavours and ingredients. They will always surprise and satisfy you beyond your expectation!. Recommend all drinks and dishes here! And plus, you will meet the most friendly and warm (of the world) owner and waitress in this little cafe as well! 😉

Konj cafe is a cozy, one-of-a-kind, gem in the Tolcross/Bruntsfield area. Inspired by Bastani (Persian ice cream), the saffron rose latte is breathtaking! Fara, the owner, is full of passion and creativity and loves bringing traditional Persian dishes “back to life.” The flavors in both the Khagineh and Nargesi were stunning. Alex and staff instantly welcome you into the space. Would go back again in a heartbeat!

I am usually skeptical when a restaurant rate perfect 5.0 stars, but KONJ Cafe definitely deserves 5 stars and more. The food is absolutely delicious, it's very clear that the owner of the restaurant/chef has put a lot of love into making it. There were so many wonderful flavours, and everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The saffron latte was also to die for - I definitely would recommend getting that! On top of that, the staff members were so so lovely and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. My heart felt very warm after my visit. I would honestly travel all the way to Edinburgh again just to eat at KONJ cafe!

A delightful discovery, this very small cafe in Tollcross served delicious Persian food. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. The meze platter is great as you get to try 4 dishes. The saffron latte, Persian black tea, and hibiscus iced tea are all wonderful. The staff are both very friendly and welcoming. It is my favourite place for lunch.
