I've tried DD's in 3 places now and it's been good every time. The menu changes frequently as does the location though the vibe of the cafe in Marchmont is great for brunch.
The fried chicken is nice and crispy and a real treat if avoiding gluten (and also if not!). I highly recommend the Korean waffle if it's available (pictured at the Bellfield gf brewery popup). Very interesting flavours and not something you see everyday even with gluten.
They even sometimes have guest pop-ups themselves in Marchmont which is a brilliant idea.

Stumbled upon this place, they had a gluten free menu with heaps of options! I got a cappuccino, 3 hash browns and a waffle stack all for 10 pounds!!!

Such a lovely experience and the food is beyond delicious. Would highly recommend coming here for the Sunrise Stack, but really anything here is super tasty. Try the hot chocolate as well. Come during the „golden hour“ between 12 and 1 and choose from both the brunch and lunch menu.

One of the best burgers I’ve had (fried chicken) Cajun fries nice and coated, very crispy too! Also a cloudy lemon Bon accord to go along with, perfection. Support local!

Wanted to try something different and it delivered. Tried the pizza waffle which was amazing. The home made milkshakes are to die for, and they have good options for thise who have dietary restrictions. Fair prices and good sized portions.

Awesome waffles! Take care when ordering the large portion, it's really large. I normally have a big appetite and struggled finishing it...

Absolutely appropriately named—always a delight, and always delicious. I have celiac and almost everything on their menu can be made gluten free (especially on the new updated menu!) and I have never gotten sick from cross contact, whether eating in or takeaway—so appreciate their inclusion. The (gluten free) fried chicken is a favorite, and they make a great vegan hot chocolate! As a bonus, dogs are welcome 😊

Absolutely delicious. Puts chicken & waffle places from London to shame. Being Londoners, if they had a branch back home we'd definitely be regulars. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys generous portions, friendly service and piping fresh and crispy fried chicken. The waffles were great too!
