I've tried DD's in 3 places now and it's been good every time. The menu changes frequently as does the location though the vibe of the cafe in Marchmont is great for brunch.
The fried chicken is nice and crispy and a real treat if avoiding gluten (and also if not!). I highly recommend the Korean waffle if it's available (pictured at the Bellfield gf brewery popup). Very interesting flavours and not something you see everyday even with gluten.
They even sometimes have guest pop-ups themselves in Marchmont which is a brilliant idea.
Absolutely appropriately named—always a delight, and always delicious. I have celiac and almost everything on their menu can be made gluten free (especially on the new updated menu!) and I have never gotten sick from cross contact, whether eating in or takeaway—so appreciate their inclusion. The (gluten free) fried chicken is a favorite, and they make a great vegan hot chocolate! As a bonus, dogs are welcome 😊
Such a lovely experience and the food is beyond delicious. Would highly recommend coming here for the Sunrise Stack, but really anything here is super tasty. Try the hot chocolate as well. Come during the „golden hour“ between 12 and 1 and choose from both the brunch and lunch menu.
Stumbled upon this place, they had a gluten free menu with heaps of options! I got a cappuccino, 3 hash browns and a waffle stack all for 10 pounds!!!
Completely lives up to the name! Waffles and shakes were amazing and very generous, filling portions at a good price - very happily took the blondie home to enjoy later. Vegan and GF options were also available. Staff were really friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend! 🌟
Delicious chicken and waffles, the picture attached is going large. Which is very big. Lotus biscuit for scale. Service was excellent too. Highly recommended!

Wanted to try something different and it delivered. Tried the pizza waffle which was amazing. The home made milkshakes are to die for, and they have good options for thise who have dietary restrictions. Fair prices and good sized portions.
Absolutely delicious. Puts chicken & waffle places from London to shame. Being Londoners, if they had a branch back home we'd definitely be regulars. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys generous portions, friendly service and piping fresh and crispy fried chicken. The waffles were great too!
Amazing waffles! It's a little out of the way but well worth making a trip to. I love their Parks and Recs references all over the walls - great taste.
It could do with a little more decor maybe to soak up noise and enhance the atmosphere - it felt a little bare in that regards on entry - but would 100% eat there again.

Loved it! My pal had the buffalo chicken waffles and I had the salted caramel. Both were delicious - tasty, filling and generous portions. Was also really cool to see so many local products on the menu - going to be looking out for Bon Accord drinks from now on. Brilliant wee spot - can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
I have enjoyed numerous milkshakes and waffles from Delightfully Delicious over the summer and hot chocolates in the winter. The food and drinks live up to the 'delicious' name and the staff are super friendly. The portions are very generous and the cafe has a lovely atmosphere, and as a bonus it is dog friendly.
If mom knew how to make waffles these are the waffles she would make. Made fresh to order, served on a slate rectangle so it can be shared — and with all the toppings that make a special meal. This is our favorite brunch place!
One of the best burgers I’ve had (fried chicken) Cajun fries nice and coated, very crispy too! Also a cloudy lemon Bon accord to go along with, perfection. Support local!
I went to the shop on Friday to get a take away to take back to work. The food was still warm and fresh by the time I got back. My colleagues got sweet waffles which looked great. I had the chicken which was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable.
Great wee cafe in the Marchmont area of Edinburgh! I tried the buttermilk chicken waffle and my sister had the macaroni cheese waffle - both were amazing and cooked to perfection. We also tried the kinder bueno milkshake and the oreo milkshake which were so good - best milkshakes I've tried!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming - some were getting trained at the time and the owner Jess seemed really supportive of her staff.
Great cafe layout in a great area .. and covid-friendly/very clean also!
