The Tollhouse - Edinburgh - Photo album

🍲 "The Tollhouse, a Hidden Gem in Edinburgh!" 🏰 I had the pleasure of dining at The Tollhouse, and it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. 😊 🌿 After a refreshing stroll in the beautiful botanical garden, I decided to treat myself to a meal at this charming restaurant situated above th
A great dining experience. All the dishes were good but the best of all ( I felt😉) was the pea soup. Every spoonful was a flavour explosion. I would have happily had soup all night. Service was impeccable.
Went for lunch a couple of days ago. Ordered from the A La Carte menu. Had Butternut Quash soup followed by Roast Hake. Finished with warm Banana Bread and ice cream. The food was amazing. The Roast Hake was so succulent. Great service. The restaurant was recommended to us and we will do the same. L
Fantastic food and service, smaller venue with a great outlook. Cocktails are creative and delicious. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Had a fabulous lunch here celebrating a family 90th Birthday! Couldn't fault a thing. The food was lovely, as were the staff. Parking is the only issue but, using a blue badge, we were able to park fairly near. We (8 of us) had a table on the ground floor that filled all the space available, making
Great addition to the Edinburgh restaurant scene and another success further Dine team. Lovely setting, great food and wine with friendly helpful staff. I would highly recommend and will most definitely be back.
Absolutely DELICIOUS. The beetroot risotto is one of the best dishes I have ever had. Nothing but great food from this establishment.
10 of us dined here for a birthday. We had a lovely private area over looking the water. We ordered 3 courses which were all outstanding. Particularly the roast! And catered very well to my mum who has an allergy to gluten. We were extremely well looked after by our host and couldn’t recommend this
The food is good! The service was a bit slow. There were 10 of us during lunch so that could be the reason why. A little up there but the ambiance was lovely.
Come here for a superb dining experience. The decor is lovely. The staff are welcoming and friendly and food was excellent. The mezze snacks should not be missed. And they included an amuse bouche. For snack, mains with fries, dessert, mocktail and coffee (flat whites are £3.15), the cost came in at

An absolutely superb dining experience from start to finish - the most gracious and friendly staff, a robust wine list, delicious entrees with such superb attention to detail, and all at an utterly wonderful price. It's such a special and unique space in which to dine, so go there and take your time
Food was delicious and a lot of thought put into the presentation. Lovely setting overlooking the Water of Leith. Another class restaurant from the same people who own Dine.
A beautiful place. Service is perfect. And food is delicious. What else to expect? Thanks a lot for this dinner, definitely recommend
superb dining experience with a great cuisine, fresh ingredients, and modern ambiance. However, what truly sets it apart is the exceptional service provided by the charming Spanish waiter ( sorry I did not catch his name :( ). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Absolutely stunning... Food was beautiful and staff so friendly.
Great food, friendly, professional staff, situated on the bank of the river Leight. Good selection of wines! Definitely worth a visit. Only 5 minutes walk from the Royal botanical gardens.
