What a fantastic addition to the neighbourhood! From the minute we arrived for me to feel welcome and I simply cannot believe how this place has changed to compare to the awful Chinese restaurant that was there before. Dennis has done a great job! For starter we had tempura prawns in the most delicious spicy dip and mussels sautéed with white wine, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. For main I had the most amazing Tonnarelli cacio pepe, beautifully made fresh pasta with pecorino sauce and tons of yummy prawns. My partner had tagliolini di mare which is fresh pasta with tomatoes and sea urchin purée yummmm. Thank you Pedro and Dennis for a great welcome. We will definitely be back.

Seen this place was getting revamp and were awaiting it’s opening. Walked by today when we were about to travel for somewhere to eat, seen it was open and decided to eat local and try it out. Waiters were very polite from the beginning. My partner and I shared the mixed bruschetta for the starters. We were well impressed with the portion size. Particularly enjoyed the artichoke one. We thoroughly enjoyed the pastas we had as a main. My partners dish wasn’t as hot as would been preferred however, the taste was phenomenal and we both polished off our plates. We paired our meal with a delicious bottle of Riesling. We felt comfortable enough to hang around and enjoy another bottle after our meal. All round, very enjoyable. Will return!

We had a lovely meal here, started of with a couple of cocktails, the amaretto sours was amazing. Followed by a sharing meat platter which had probably the nicest ham i have ever tasted and three types of cheese, all good. I had steak with truffle salad the taste was yummy. Will be back, has the makings of a great place to go for dinner or drinks and nice relaxed atmosphere. almost forgot the wine, white Riesling, superb.

We were visiting from Canada and happened to find this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming and the chef also came to speak to us to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Our ribeye dinners and pasta were amazing! The prawn appetizer and soup were so incredibly tasty! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and for making us feel so welcome!! Wishing you much success!!

Popped into Dionysus for some wine and weren't disappointed. The owner and bar tender were so friendly and recommended a lovely red wine from their fantastic selection. The decor is lovely and we can't wait to go back and try the Italian cuisine.

Very good dining experience. Not your average italian! Creative but not bonkers menu, excellent quality ingredients, great wine selection, friendly service and very relaxed atmosphere. We were particularly impressed how the ingredients were carefully and locally selected to the best quality. We are already planning what to have for our next visit.

We came to this restaurant and firstly received such a warm welcome from the waiter, really smiley and friendly. The food was amazing, really tasty and fresh tasting. We have a mixture of vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone was pleased with their food. I would really recommend this restaurant

A real gem just round the corner from Leith waterfront. Authentic Italian food, lovey wine and service from the hosts who genuinely love their work and understand ingredients. If you want to taste and try recipes as you would in Italy is certainly worth the trip!
