What a fantastic addition to the neighbourhood! From the minute we arrived for me to feel welcome and I simply cannot believe how this place has changed to compare to the awful Chinese restaurant that was there before. Dennis has done a great job! For starter we had tempura prawns in the most deli
Seen this place was getting revamp and were awaiting it’s opening. Walked by today when we were about to travel for somewhere to eat, seen it was open and decided to eat local and try it out. Waiters were very polite from the beginning. My partner and I shared the mixed bruschetta for the starters.
We had a lovely meal here, started of with a couple of cocktails, the amaretto sours was amazing. Followed by a sharing meat platter which had probably the nicest ham i have ever tasted and three types of cheese, all good. I had steak with truffle salad the taste was yummy. Will be back, has the
We were visiting from Canada and happened to find this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming and the chef also came to speak to us to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Our ribeye dinners and pasta were amazing! The prawn appetizer and soup were so incredibly tasty! Thank you so much for a
Popped into Dionysus for some wine and weren't disappointed. The owner and bar tender were so friendly and recommended a lovely red wine from their fantastic selection. The decor is lovely and we can't wait to go back and try the Italian cuisine.
Very good dining experience. Not your average italian! Creative but not bonkers menu, excellent quality ingredients, great wine selection, friendly service and very relaxed atmosphere. We were particularly impressed how the ingredients were carefully and locally selected to the best quality. We are
We came to this restaurant and firstly received such a warm welcome from the waiter, really smiley and friendly. The food was amazing, really tasty and fresh tasting. We have a mixture of vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone was pleased with their food. I would really recommend this restaurant
Lovely new restaurant in Leith! Food was good and wine was excellent. Plenty of vegetarian options.
A real gem just round the corner from Leith waterfront. Authentic Italian food, lovey wine and service from the hosts who genuinely love their work and understand ingredients. If you want to taste and try recipes as you would in Italy is certainly worth the trip!
Outstanding food and lovely kind service. Staff were kind and considerate throughout the meal. The food was incredible and interesting new flavours and combinations. Would highly recommend for any occasion and very good value for money.
Beautiful space and marvellous dinner. The chef’s hands are really magic. lovely the manners of the room manager and finally a very comfortable lounge bar with very good cocktails. Super!
Great place with great authentic Italian food. Definitely the best Italian place I've been in Edinburgh. Pasta was amazing and cocktails were really good! Will come back again
We were on our last dinner in Edinburgh and were looking for a ‘Scottish’ fare, but we couldn’t find any restaurants still open. We eventually entered this finely decorated place and were warmly welcomed by a young Italian restaurateur. We had crostini, filetto and rib eye. Matched with a locally-di
A splendid addition to Leith’s food scene! Excellent sharing platters and perfectly prepared and presented tuna tartare and salmon mains. Terrific wine list too. Friendly owner and maitre d’ make this a superb place to dine.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a family get together. The food was delicious, well presented and authentically Italian. Will definitely go back.
Went to Dionysus for my birthday, really impressed by the quality of the food. Everything was delicious! Great service and fair prices as well. Will definitely be back!
I went here with a large party. The restaurant coped well, provided good food (though not everything was perfect) and most of all, great service. I’d recommend giving it a try. Special thanks to Izabela, for her attentive service
