Ordered a black pudding supper, curry sauce and can of juice. £9.00 it cost which is reasonable all things considered.
Guy behind the counter was polite and efficient.
Food was ok but chips a little dry. The black pudding was great.
Would recommend and will be back. Place also has off street parking and internal seating if you wish to eat in the restaurant!

Jumbo haddock chips and peas cup of tea. Haddock was fresh and tasty I was surprised. My mother had a senior citizens fish and chips also with tea. Bill was £28 but fish is expensive today. All in all it was a nice dinner. Although it was very hot inside I was sweating.

Had a lovely meal .But waitress needed to change her apron and t-shirt as they were absolutely filthy didn't look very nice having to look at it before ordering your meal didn't see anyone in charge to report to

The Ashvale has always been a good fish restaurant and take away, whether it's been Aberdeen, Inverurie, or Elgin. Choose from their range of fish, or set lunch / tea options.
My only 'complaint' would be that they no longer have a smoked haddock on the menu.

The Ashvale take out is ok. I was asked straight away what I would like to order then had to wait as there was a queue waiting for their order. I didn't have to wait too long for my order. The food is ok, I've tasted better.

Haven't been to the Elgi takeaway in some time, it's definitely looking run down and in desperate need of a makeover and upgrade on equipment. Leaky fridge spilling water onto the floor next to a black bag of rubbish lying on the floor doesn't look good! But the fish & Chips are still good and tasty, staff also nice and friendly!

Great location in Elgin, easy parking as they have they own parking outside! Choice of either takeaway or sit in. I choose to sit in for lunch. Lovely service from staff member. Choice the lunchtime flyer, which consisted of haddock, chips and tea/coffee. Peas was offered, but I declined. Table and area clean, utensils all clean. Food was great, didn't have to wait for long. They even offered to top up my chips when I finished them ! Lovely place, well recommended.
