Such a lovely little cafe to visit on holiday! Staff are lovely, food and drink is great with lots of variety and well priced! As we arrived the cook was just bringing out fresh, warm fruit scones which were delicious!!

Although the Cherry Tree Cafe, Ellesemere does not offer any vegan options as such, the staff were very accommodations and "veganised" a baked potatoe for me. A pot of tea with soya milk was no problem at all.
There were five in our group and we sat outside, as the road was quiet and the weather good. The cafe is small and layout constrained by size, so groups bigger than four might find it hard to sit together. But if there is a way, I know the lovely staff will find it!
We will certainly be returning to this stylish and friendly cafe.
Lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Food is amazing from the breakfast, to the Best Quiche in Shropshire, to the deserts. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. We would highly recommend. My husband especially loves Mike's hand cut chips.
What a great cafe. We do a Sunday swim with Swimfinity in Ellesmere mere and we have our refuel at the cafe it's fabulous. The brunch is excellent and the hot chocolate is to die for. Just what you need for a refuel after an 3000m swim!
3rd Nov 2023 this little cafe just keeps getting better. Having almost gone vegetarian (sorry not giving up bacon) I tried the vegi breakfast... yummy! Totally recommend a visit you will not be disappointed 😀
Popped in for breakfast and it was really lovely. One of the top spots in Ellesmere. The waitress was prompt when making my coffee and double checked that I was happy which was nice. Can't wait to come here again and maybe have a cake! ;-) Got to watch that waistline though!
Brilliant little place. To be fair, we take a lot of pleasing, and this place did just that. Breakfast was lovely, hot and warmed plates. And the eggs were cooked perfectly.
Always try and eat here if in the area, good food, always busy, so quality speaks for itself. Five Stars from me!

Popped in for an early lunch whilst visiting from the nearby canal. Had an amazing chicken & bacon salad and blackcurrant crumble. Would definitely visit again next time we're in the area.
We had a Sunday morning breakfast here which was great. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and the food is tasty. We loved the quirkinesses of the place (see photos). It has decent coffee but the start attraction has to be the cooked breakfast, it was superb. We were visiting family so we won’t get to visit too often but will be making arrangements to visit again in the future. If you’re looking for a very good cooked breakfast in Ellesmere, then Cherry Tree Cafe will not disappoint.
The breakfasts are lovely and the paninis are to die for. Great service and helpful staff. My new favourite cafe
