Food was unbelievable! Brisket was the best I've ever tasted. The burger spot on! Alistair the pit-boss came over and introduced himself and we could instantly tell this was his passion, making the experience that more enjoyable. Very pleasant relaxed atmosphere and great service. Will recommend to anyone heading anywhere near and can't wait to come back ourselves.

I’m so glad we’ve discovered Meat Monsters - it’s the best BBQ food we’ve ever had. Just flawless food and at such a good price. We tried brisket, pulled pork and wings, as well as Mac cheese, sweet potato fries and onion rings. The rib meat fell off the bone - it’s all super high quality meat. Everything was stunning -it came to around £45, which I would happily pay again. Special mention for the sauces - every one of them is incredible! We brought a bottle of sweet BBQ sauce home. However, the stand out here is the service. It’s clear that everyone at Meat Monster is passionate about what they do. Alistair (Monster in Chief, I believe) is very enthusiastic and chatted with us - explained the sauces, talked about their work, gave us some hot sauce samples. It’s clear that this is his life’s work and I really hope that the business goes from strength to strength! If you’re looking to visit, it’s very safe. Lots of space between tables, the ability to pre-order food and staff all wore masks around customers. This is a really special place. We shall be back!

Just incredible! The quality of the meat is incredible. The largest thickest ribs I've seen. The flavour is out of this world and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. I couldn't have enjoyed this meal anymore if I tried. We asked for a spread to feed eight and was blown away with the quantity of food received for the very fair price. The brisket was falling to pieces and melted in your mouth, the ribs were the best ribs I've ever had (I've been to loads of BBQ joints in Texas too) and the pulled pork with their own sauce was excellent. I have not one complaint about this meal and I think that Meat Monsters have achieved something spectacular with their food. Mr Monster himself is a lovely bloke and couldn't have been more helpful when taking my order and even spent a bit of time explaining what he does. Great business and I will definitely be a regular customer as long as I can keep coming up with excuses for such indulgence to the wife!

Veteran of many a BBQ restaurant in TX and LA, and this is up there amongst the best. Ribs and rib ends were huge and tasty, the brisket moist, and the 'Fat Boy Bacon Melt' burger was amazing. Their own BBQ sauces and mayo are great too. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Tables currently well spaced for social distancing. Booking ahead/on their app is recommended. All that's missing is the straw on the floor and the accents!

Finally got the chance to visit yesterday (despite the lockdown etc) amd collected a takeaway order. They've taken great care with the social distancing going on. Order from the app, give your name, take a seat then collect from the collection point. Easy and well orginised. The food though... Oh my... Stunning melt in the mouth brisket, delicious pulled pork and a rib where the meat just fell off the bone and a wonderful sticky sauce that you have to lick off your fingers afterwards and led to me making some noises in a layby outside Ellon that would raise some eyebrows. I bought a pack of their rib rubbed bacon which i cant wait to get stuck into.
