Never had anything less than an excellent meal at the Ashvale in Ellon. Always a treat, with lovely fresh cooked fish and chips. Quick service and the staff are all very pleasant. We regularly use the restaurant. The only downside is that the prices are on the high side, but I won't mark them down on that, as I enjoy the food so much.

Lovely visit today. Friendly staff and although the takeaway was busy the cafe area was very quiet and we got to take our time and enjot ourselves. Fish was beautiful and my daughter demolished her chicken.

Good experience overall. 7 or 8 tables in total. The fish was good, not oily, so was the burger. For environmental reasons, we were disappointed that the sauces all came in individual plastic sachets, and not in a bigger container. But the service was excellent, the staff very attentive to our preferences. Thank you!

Just had their jumbo haddock supper. Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Batter was perfect, crispy and full of flavour. Fish was fresh and the chips were perfect.

Best chicken breast burger I've ever had by far. Quality of food for the price was good. Suppers are slightly overpriced, but all in all I would definitely go back again.
