We had a lovely dinner here, with service from Debbie and Holly.
The food was nice but not mindblowing - for example, we had Brie wedges as a starter and one of them was cold inside. Not subpar enough to complain about, but less than I would have expected for the price. We paid about £45 for a starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks.
The service was excellent - speedy and friendly. The restaurant was very quiet so it felt calm.
Debbie went out of her way to get us some local taxi numbers - thank you.

We had such a great lunch here today. Cullen Skink as a starter was sensational. No bits of fish or potato thankfully which is great for a starter as we had a lot more coming.The stock was exceptionally good. Fabulous fish & chips with a fabulous tarter sauce. Heavy on the batter and the chips weren’t cooked enough- lacked any crispness. Hence the reason for only 4 stars. Great staff and spectacular views. I would return. Maybe for the afternoon tea others were eating on the next table!!
Great family meal out, with the two dogs coming too. Superbly looked after by Holly and Aime, especially the doggies. The dog portions are quite large but I didn't hear the dogs complaining! Lovely food for the humans too!
Called here for coffee with a friend. Very helpful staff, nice menu and outstanding view. This had got to be one of the finest views you could ever get while have a coffee, drink, or meal. The restrictions related to having to be a golf club member or be signed in by one have been lifted and now anyone can enjoy the food, drinks, or snacks. Highly recommended, sirens a bit of time in Newburgh if you can, there's lots to see and do.
High quality meals, friendly staff, adheres to COVID hygene standards. Definitely a very appropriate name when you sit by the window. Ample car park space. No complaints whatsoever, we'll be back.
A very good restaurant with panoramic views of the Ythan Estuary area. The restaurant has an extensive range of tasty food. The serving staff are curtious attentive.
Nice restaurant with a wonderful view of the estuary. The service was quick despite being Saturday dinner time and the food was really good, nice big portions as you can probably see in the picture. I would recommend it.
A little Jewel in the Crown in Newburgh. This establishment definitely has best ever caring efficient staff, food is always fantastic and lovely ambience. Innovative thinking that you can bring your dog in with you as part of the family too. If you havent yet tried here - even for a coffee and delicious home bake - I would thoroughly recommend you try it.
We had travelled 500 miles and were recommended this location for food. Excellent food, hot and a wide variety of food to choose from. The food had a theatre about it, fajitas arrived on a sizzling plate, Jumbo fish really was jumbo and the drinks arrived in a timely fashion.Incredible view of the sea and surrounding area, value for money is fantastic and we will certainly be coming again and have advised friends and family in Aberdeen, Inveruie and Oldmeldrum to visit too! Special thanks to Megan who made our night extra special with her warm personality and friendly nature. My parents both noted she was the best waitress they have experienced in years. Thank you Megan and all at the View for a fantastic meal out. See you sometime soon!
We went here on Saturday for dinner and surprisingly the food was not only good but awesome. We had Cullen skink soup, fish supper, the view burger and steak burger. I didn't expect to be great but I was wrong. Really tasty and good portions. The Place seemed run by students but good on them. Learning customer service in the field. Great. Will be back soon.
You can book thru' web or just come in but may be busy especially at weekends. And it's pet friendly. No photos taken at dinner. Not that we didn't want to capture but decided to focus on meal
