Popped in mid week after a walk at approx 1pm. The menu has some great options, but today, I went for the half-moon brunch. Washed down with a couple of pints of Landlord beer. Fantastic
The wife and I went there on , April. We had excellent meals and the lady's that served us were very attentive, pleasant, and done their work as if they actually wanted to be there. I actually spoke to the manager and told him that is staff were a credit to him. He himself was a very approachable.

Having lived here for several years, I've never been in the Half Moon and I'm quite amazed!

We haven't booked in advance but they found us a table. Food is homemade and at reasonable prices. Great astomphere with attentive staff. Great to see a pub with both a separate bar area (dogs allowed too) and separate food areas.
Nice lunch (roast dinner in a large Yorkshire pud) with friends. Seems to be working reduced hours and saving on heating which is perhaps understandable at the moment. Beer pricey by local standards
Very enjoyable meal, with courteous and attentive staff.
Often go for Sunday lunch. Service can be a bit slow when busy, but in general it's pretty good, and staff are always polite.

Good quality food in a warm and friendly environment
It has been a while since we have visited. There has been a big improvement since the last time. New decorations and more staff made it a more enjoyable visit. Prices are a little high but the food was good and there was a good menu. Beer choice was limited. We will be returning soon. Update June 19
