I really like it here. It feels a little half done, but it is community owned, and I feel sure the community will complete its resurrection.

Now owned by the village this pub has a welcoming atmosphere and exciting plans for the future. Staff were very friendly. Also has events which are well worth trying out. Currently closed awaiting renovation.

Went there for a CAMRA meeting. Has recently re-opened as a community pub. Roaring log fire, several real ales (no dark though). FYI no food provision currently and do watch out for that *big* drop down step into the pub

Suffolk Council is the new landlord of the Railway Tavern. The venue itself is a traditional style pub recently given a huge overhaul by the new owners. Its a great place to spend an evening when there's entertainment and a lovely place for a quiet drink any other time. For food there's the Pizza Rosso takeaway van in the Railway Taverns car park every evening. Enjoy a pint with a hand crafted Italian style pizza in the pub's garden or inside when its chilly.
