Mama Mia π A fantastic meal for 5! Very nice setting and staff were really friendly. We booked a table online for 17:30 on a Friday and it was fairly quiet when we walked in. It was picking up a bit as we left around 19:30.
We had starters, half portion mains for the kids, and deserts (The chocolate π« brownie was yummy π and the raspberry Pavlova was sweet, refreshing and epic!) A couple of large glasses of white wine π₯ J2Os, cappuccino β and we spent circa Β£150.
The service was a little slow between starter and main, but the food made up for it. I had the Fillet steak Diane, cooked medium. It was nice and melted in my mouth, cooked perfectly I might add. Β£30 was a bit steep for the 8oz and chips. I had to order a portion of seasonal veg on top. There are other items on the menu that are better value.
Mrs S had a lasagne and it looked great, and a decent portion, she couldn't finish it. The eldest had an adult spaghetti π Bolognese - said it tasted Herby π€£ that'll be the Oregano, I had a bite and it tasted lovely π
Access βΏ is good from the car park. A couple of disabled bays in the car park also. Good access to the table and toilets.
Toilets π» were nice and clean.
We look forward to coming back in the near future π thanks for hosting us π€©ββ€οΈ

Really good restaurant. Wonderful service. The lamb shank is absolutely delicious. We also had the vegetarian pizza and the mixed seafood pasta (squid ink). They have a good collection of wines and desserts too.
Delicious food with great service. Friendly staff with perfect politeness and gratitude. I loved the spaghetti bolognese and would come again.
Food really good although confused why a large percentage of the menu came with chips, Duck in orange sauce with chips π€ is a tad strange. That aside the duck was perfectly cooked and practically melted in your mouth. Chicken very tender and moist, beautiful! Service was attentive but food slow to come out, was worth the wait!
Although it wasn't the 1st visit hear for my wife and I, and it was a special occasion for us, we had a wonderful time here. The food was a little more expensive than we would normally go for but wow, it really was fantastic.
The atmosphere had a 'holiday' feel to it, everyone smartly dressed and all having a great time, I little too noisy/busy if you were intending to have a quiet romantic evening at a good restaurant, but it was 6.30 on a Saturday night so it added to the holiday/party air to the place.
Prices were pretty good, the Β£5 each cocktails were going down a bit too easily, so that bumped the bill up some..... well.....abit.
So, without the drinks, it came to Β£50 2xstarter, 2xmain and 1xside.
Really nice, would recommend this place for adult parties and or gatherings. I booked our evening on there website, really easy, confirmation came an hour later as they weren't open at time of booking.
Food was lovely, would definitely go again.
Very slow service, could do with more staff but was compensated for the wait time with free cocktails.

A real surprise. Genuinely authentic tasting Italian food at what are reasonable prices today.
We went on a Monday night so nice and quiet. The open plan style may not suit everyone - no cosy corners here π but I guess just time your visit as to how you like the atmosphere
Will be returning. π
Parents 50th wedding anniversary, the service & food absolutely spot on, would highly recommend a visit, nothing was to much trouble. Thankyou for making my parents anniversary one to remember..
Good value, some starters are large enough to share e.g. the garlic bread is a pizza sized. Good atmosphere and great service for a birthday, the staff want and brought out the cake as well as providing cutlery and napkins to eat it with.
Food is brilliant. The main guy is nice. Only downside of this place is service. Bunch of girls looking around not spotting customers waiting for menu, order, or wanting to pay. We were waiting over 20 minutes before one of them realised we are there. She asked if we are ready to order drink, but we didn't even get drink menu. Just sitting there ignored/overlooked. If we wouldn't ask for something, we might be still sitting there by now.
Another interesting fact when we got our birthday cakes (which weren't even stored in the fridge), we didn't get any plates or cutlery with it. Not even the knife to cut it with.
So food spot on, service disappointing.
