Went with school. Flight training, trip round the airfield, meeting industry experts, flight simulator and flight in a Cessna or Piper. Amazing day
Lovely place to sit and watch the aircraft coming and going. My little daughter loves it and gets so excited 😊
Went to the aerodrome café for a lunch with a view and it was indeed a very entertaining, albeit loud, experience!
There weren't any more free tables out, but we were allowed to sit on our picnic blanket and the staff was lovely enough to bring the food we ordered to our blanket:)
Quite tasty food and plenty of options.
Kid friendly cafe, but no baby changing facilities (which I don't really consider a downside, just thought it useful to have in mind when out with the whole family).
Lovely day out with a family. You can watch planes & helicopters take off. There’s a Chaffee/restaurant, toilets, place to sit & view. It does get windy. You can also take plane/helicopter lessons. Great day out, buggy and wheelchair friendly.
Took my grandson and have lunch. Good food in cafe, grandson didn't know where to look, so much going on. Great few hours for little ones.

Also very nice for spotting and as a base for hiking 🚶🏻♂️ in the countryside around
We came here for the first time and was not disappointed, we had a lovely breakfast in the Cafe, and we watched the planes and helicopters taking off and landing with our granddaughter, we will definitely be back.
