A quick bite to eat on the way to a funeral. The sandwiches came with chips which we did not really need and the were good but nothing to rave about. The bar staff were really nice and there was a good atmosphere.

Great food. Real food prepared to order by real chefs. Definitely worth a visit if you want something better than standard pub grub or ping cuisine.

EDIT: I still love this place. Always a very warm welcome and made to feel at home. Food is great and the place is obviously looked after well by staff as it's always clean and tidy. Service is always polite without being over powering.
BUT (you could see that coming!), the owner (who is not the manager) does need to invest a little into basic things as its started to look a little tired, especially outside. Boards & signage outside are disintegrating. There's raised decking to the rear collapsing with multiple warped boards, holes and trip hazards. And get rid of the broken concrete "things", they do nothing for the outside area other than make it look a mess. (Uploaded photos)
In short, still a great place to eat and be warmly welcomed. The interior is clean, tidy and well managed. Service is good. Outside is showing a degree of "tiredness" that could be simply fixed and improve first impressions to new customers.
