We always look forward to takeout from Sir G's when we visit Ely in the Fall. This year it was a real bright spot to pickup a par bake Special to take back to our River Point Resort cabin to finish baking for a perfect hot meal. This was an amazing pie, loaded with tasty, fresh ingredients and a mound of cheese.
You can dine in at Sir G's with a reservation too.

Fantastic, old-school style thin crust pizza. We had pepperoni and onion and loved it. A bit pricey but it was worth it.

Service was a bit slow, but, it was absolutely packed in there, plus a long line of waiting payrons, so it was to be expected. Food was delicious, per the usual !

I called to order a pizza and after 3 min of ringing a lady picked up and asked if I could hold. I said sure and heard they lady set the phone down and walk away. I sat there and listened to loud banging and people chattering for 20 min. I hung up and have been trying to call back for an hour now and the line is busy. I'm assuming they don't take phone orders for take out. That's to bad as I was willing to keep trying to spend money there. Unfortunately, I don't know if it's worth it. That's to bad.

Food was very good...pizza excellent. Service rep could be more accomodating and wear the mask over mouth AND nose. I question their sanitation practice.
