We're been to Riverside Bar in Ely several times and had a lovely meal and drinks. We come here once a year with the Cambridge Deaf Association for the annual Christmas meal, and it's been excellent, and the staff are always lovely to us. It's pretty spacious, too, with access for all disabilities. It has a great view of the river and is easy to access via bus or train, and I would recommend people to visit if they want to have a quality meal.
I went here for a little work get together on a nice sunny day. Being able to sit outside (with the option of shade) by the river and relax was so nice. The outside seating area was very dog friendly and they had multiple water dishes out for thirsty pooches. The food was good and fairly standard. It would be nice to have a slightly larger tap menu with a cider, but I was still able to find plenty of tasty drinks. I went with a long island ice tea, a madras, and the goat cheese pizza.

A great start to the Summer! Always a lovely atmosphere by the river, especially with the sun beaming down! Consistently enjoyable food and a great selection of drinks. Looking forward to many more sunny lunchtimes at RBK!
Excellent service and really lovely food even though it was a very busy day. Beautiful setting by the river. Perfect for a sunny afternoon lunch or drink.
Shared a lovely lunch with my brother on a day trip to Ely.
We both had the buttermilk chicken burger. It was very nice & tasty. The chips were hot and not greasy. I would definitely recommend this eatery.
The prices were reasonable, staff friendly & we received good service.
Stopped here for lunch, lovely day so sat outside, nice views over the marina, food was OK but we only had chips as a snack. Nice place nice people 👍
Food was good, service was good and a lovely place to sit by the river and enjoy a few beers. My only issue that it’s a little expensive for what you get. £18 for a pizza is a little expensive for me considering the size of the pizza but that’s my own opinion. Otherwise a lovely place.
They don't offer a lunch menu but you can have coffee or tea with a cake. One of the ladies at the bar need to be more polite or careful with her words as she was perceived as rude by my pensioner parents.
Lovely place ot eat and drink. Great location, lovely staff (especially Lola the manager, always smiling and chatty)!
