We were visitors to Emsworth and were making our way to Driftwood cafe. Unfortunately for them but fortunately for Cross kitchen there was a wait. We were so very impressed the minute we arrived. The waitress Maddie was very attentive helping us with our order. Good selection of tempting dishes . Although we didn’t have cake along with pastries looked good. We liked the open kitchen and bright airy ambiance, with wall art for sale. So well done you definitely have the right balance, good addition to Emsworth .

I really like this place and have never had a bad experience. There has been misunderstandings with items on the menu, however, they were very accommodating with sorting it out. The food has always been lovely and so has the service.

Had a early breakfast after a walk with my dog. Amazing food, clean and friendly. The owner is always about chatting and greeting people. Will be back again for sure. Had the Mac cross highly recommend!

Came for breakfast on Sunday morning. Sat outside in the sunny courtyard. We were served really quickly by friendly and efficient staff. We had a great chat with the owner who stopped by to say hello. It was explained that as food is only made to order, there might be a little delay. Despite this, the food came quite quickly. But this was worth waiting for. Genuinely I think this is probably the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. Differentiating factor was the really high quality ingredients. Perfectly cooked and presented. 5 stars!!

Passing by today we popped in here for a warming cuppa. The owner Steve was very welcoming...we didn't know he was the owner at the time. It was so, so clean and the decor was fantastic. A really lovely place and the staff were very friendly. We had a coffee and a cup of tea and both were served with little biscuits on the side. I also noticed they had an amazing array of homemade cakes on the counter, and a full and varied menu. They also offer a high tea which I read on a leaflet when I was sat at the table. I would definitely recommend this venue and will return again next time we are in the area.

During our visits to see family in the area, we went to Cross Kitchen multiple times. Their breakfast and lunch menus offer a wide variety of options, and their pastries and buns are exquisite. The courtyard seating adds to the atmosphere and creates a nice ambiance. The staff were attentive and made the experience hassle-free, even with a toddler. I highly recommend Cross Kitchen for anyone looking for a great casual dining experience in the heart of Emsworth.

Had a fabulous lunch here today with my daughter. Food was so well presented and cooked to perfection. Service excellent by lovely young waitress. Will definitely be returning to this little gem again.

Fantastic cafe with a wonderful choice of delicious, beautifully-presented food, with good gluten-free options too. The owners are such lovely people – remembered who I was despite not visiting for a quite a while. They clearly really care about making a visit to their cafe a positive experience for everyone. Will definitely go back when next in Emsworth!

Delicious lunch. Stopped for light lunch & sat outside. Coffees were excellent, followed by homemade soup (pea and mint) with fresh sourdough roll & a Hail Caesar salad. All delicious & followed by an indulgent Brownie. Everything cooked on premises by owners. Service wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Me and my wife both had the Bombay Royal which was amazing, all the ingredients combined together to create a masterpiece 👌🏻. The biscoff cake which we got to takeaway was delicious too!
