Had a lovely time here, food was great, especially the free dessert, as it was free dessert Wednesday who knew. Would definitely go back
The space is huge. Lovely high ceiling. Furniture is old, dated and torn. Drinks were fine and food was served was of ok quality. Overall feel was fine. You could find a seating for after work pub drinks. Has paid car park too.
The best priced beer in the area, friendly staff, a historic venue ( it really used be an old Picture Palace) and pretty good pub grub. Not quite "gastro pub" stuff, but a decent standard and very fairly priced. An affordable night out!
Good food and drinks at a decent pricr, and a very chilled atmosphere coupled with an interesting building. Staff were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately their car park is bloody awful - the parking machine is broken half the time for a start, but then on top of that, patrons will quite happily

Had a lunch for the 1st time with my daughter . We couldn’t finish our meal ! We were full ! Delicious Triple Chicken Stack & pie . The only thing I didn’t like was the glass of wine at £1 with my pie . The rest was amazing,very tasty & the waitresses very nice & friendly . For sure ,we will come b
Great atmosphere and extremely helpful staff. Didn't have any caramel for my frape.... not a problem! Staff made me something else with what he had to hand and it was even better. Wish I got another but had to rush off haha!

Former Wetherspoons pub in a very early cinema. The plasterwork on the ceiling is very impressive. Good range of cask ale on sales at very cheap at £2.60 for a pint in my visit. Menu very similar to the former owners and very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend a visit to this very welco
Great staff - excellent service. Food is OK and a wide selection of drinks,at the end of the day its a Wetherspoons pub - cheap&cheerful, if you are looking for something more upscale then look elsewhere.
Menu is limited compared to what it used to be and unfortunatley the food isn't as good as it was....but that said, there's music now which is a very welcome change! It's great that this pub has survived when so many others have gone in the area. It's been going a long time and long may it continue!
Have always enjoyed coming here when visiting my daughter and family as meals were nice and some included drinks so prices were good. Disappointed to find that the meals do not include the drink anymore making the night out with family costing more. Why has this changed?
Great pub, great service, very low prices. The decor inside is amazing too. I've come here many times, and every-time go away very happy with the service, food, and beer. It is probably my favourite Wetherspoons, I come here whenever I can.
