An absolutely wonderful mid-week dining experience. This wonderful gem is situated in the heart of Cockfosters along the parade of shops and restaurants. There is parking outside the restaurant, but these spaces are usually full, you can park on side streets or parts of the main road. The food is excellent, and the portion size is extremely generous. There is a good choice of food on the menu, lasagne, tagliatelle, chicken escalopes, steak, sea food, to name a few examples. The food is excellent, tasteful, well seasoned and delicious. Great wine and dessert menu. The restaurant itself is quite large, and the decor is a kind of rustic-chic. Restrooms are exceptionally clean. The service is great, the staff are all welcoming, helpful and friendly. Excellent transport links with Cockfosters tube station within walking distance. Buses are less than a minute away. The pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality and generous size food portions. Overall a wonderful warming experience.

Lovely clean and spacious restaurant. Everything we ordered (7 of us eating 6 different dishes) was delicious. Attentive but not overbearing staff. We would all return and recommend. One star reserved as there was no lasagne available that particular lunchtime service (we arrived at 1.30 so it had probably all been eaten).
