An absolutely wonderful mid-week dining experience. This wonderful gem is situated in the heart of Cockfosters along the parade of shops and restaurants. There is parking outside the restaurant, but these spaces are usually full, you can park on side streets or parts of the main road. The food is excellent, and the portion size is extremely generous. There is a good choice of food on the menu, lasagne, tagliatelle, chicken escalopes, steak, sea food, to name a few examples. The food is excellent, tasteful, well seasoned and delicious. Great wine and dessert menu. The restaurant itself is quite large, and the decor is a kind of rustic-chic. Restrooms are exceptionally clean. The service is great, the staff are all welcoming, helpful and friendly. Excellent transport links with Cockfosters tube station within walking distance. Buses are less than a minute away. The pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality and generous size food portions. Overall a wonderful warming experience.
Food is always amazing, very friendly staff, never dissapointed
Lovely clean and spacious restaurant. Everything we ordered (7 of us eating 6 different dishes) was delicious. Attentive but not overbearing staff. We would all return and recommend. One star reserved as there was no lasagne available that particular lunchtime service (we arrived at 1.30 so it had probably all been eaten).

i went with a friend on a Friday night, we only had one course but that was delicious and the staff were attentive. the only downside is that it is one noisy place. i have hearing problems so asked to be seated somewhere quiet but they bang a cowbell to sing happy birthday and i thought i had burst an eardrum! would still go back though for the amazing filled pasta with cream and mushrooms - yum, and a huge portion.
Great Food, easy collection.
Having eaten in the restaurant previously and seen people collecting takeaways, its was a no-brainer to give them ago tonight amid all the uncertainty around at the moment. We were not disappointed, fantastic friendly service, only beaten by the food. We will be back in the restaurant as soon as circumstances allow and as long as they continue with the takeaway service, we'll be using that until then.

Went as a party of 11 for a 21st birthday with family. We all had a lovely meal - great variety of items on the menu - nice steaks, traditional Italian dishes etc etc. Friendly and welcoming staff and service. Thoroughly recommended - will definitely be going back.
