Been past countless times but never been in until this evening.
Will be going again. Meat pie, chips and gravy for me and steak pudding, chips and gravy for the wife. Pie was delicious, light tasty pastry and a tangy meat filling. Chips were just cooked right. Not overcooked, just right.
However, the gravy was the some of the richest, thickest and tastiest I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Noticed this little place as I usually drive past on my way to Buxton, decided to try and wasn’t disappointed… fish was cooked to perfection, not the usual grease you can get, chips proper chippy styleand also had a steak pie. All piping hot, service from the girls were great.
Over all a lovely little chippy. Thankyou for a lovely meal 😁

We called in the chip box tonight for the first time. The food was lovely and freshly cooked. We had cod, chips and spicy curry sauce yummy 😋 The blonde haired lady that served us was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and will be calling in again.

The food was immensely beautiful, such taste, you couldn't taste the oil, but the chips yes yes, you could feel the fluffyness, the salt and vinegar basking in the steam of warmth. I wasn't well that day so this really gave me some energy to finish my long drive. Thank you for being so nice and welcoming. They had a variety of drinks, fresh food, front of the shop had parking space. Appears the locals are friendly as well. If I am nearby again I will Deffo come here !! Don't hesitate to stop by this place, it's worth the 10 minutes to eat and feel happy.
