I enjoyed my recent visit here for a spot of lunch. I opted for the chicken goujons and chips, a portion of curry sauce and a coca cola. It came within 5 minutes and I ate it very quickly since I was ready for it and it was lovely. You get salad and coleslaw even when it's not listed on the menu (or else I missed that on the menu). You can sit in, and the food comes on a plate, you get metal cutlery, etc. You also have the option of getting your food for takeaway. I paid in cash so am not sure if card is accepted. Friendly staff and a good location. Highly recommended.

My personal favourite cafe. Amazing food, Quick service, pleasant staff except for one of them. She has short blond hair she looks like she could be about 16 whatever you ask her not to do she will do the complete opposite she is completely daft and a dough bag she forgets half your order.

been to the golden arrow before but revisited it this morning for breakfast. very pleasant place, friendly staff & decent food too.enough room to sit for a town centre restaurant.i would recommend this place wholeheartedly

7 of us eating in. Great choice of gluten free and proper food. Wild tasty and the staff were very friendly. Had small people with us so takes a bit longer and they stayed open until they had finished eating, was no rush from them at all. Highly recommended and would definitely go back again

First went there in the late 1980s early 90s. They always were the best for chips, still good. Only down side it they dont accept card payments only cash

I've been going there for over 30 years, still my top spot for proper chips.
