We stayed in the car park in our motorhome for free if you eat there. The food was basic pub grub but nice, hot and well cooked. My husband had the homemade meat pie and ate all of it which is unusual because he is a very fussy eater.

What a lovely little Pub in Coopersale, Epping. Enjoy some great food and selection of beers.
We had walked around Epping and through the lower forest up into Coopersale and called in for a beer, as food was still being served, ordered a roast dinner and lamb shank. Great service, friendly atmosphere. Recommended if you passing by.

Another fantastic pub stopover for us! The staff were wonderful, the landlady was wonderful and the food was wonderful as well! 😃 We'll definitely visit again on the way down to our daughter's in London again!

A proper local!
We popped in when we were in the area for a running event, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of beers and brilliant locals who are up for a laugh!
