I had a farewell get together in the bar area. I had previously ordered food from the buffet menu for 25 people. The food kept coming out. All my guest commented on how wonderful the food was. There was a good selection from salad...Pizza...amazing fish cakes.. vegetarian rolls....honey mustard large sausages.....garlic slices.....bacon wraps and chicken skewers.The staff were fantastic and accommodating. The table for the food was in place for when the food arrived and seating. Very pleased and would definitely have another get together there again. Food was tasty.

Menu is original and creative. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Been dozens of times and always get the same high standards. Service 9/10. Would be a 10 but had a couple of off days.
Bets are on!. Lovely, warm and welcoming venue for a pleasant meal with friends, mature family or as a couple. Situated on the Downs, this can make it hard to get to but well worth the trip.
The menu is well worded and full of choice, but don't expect to see just plain ol' fish 'n' chips or burger in a bun here. They are on the menu but under a more alluring title. The food is always well presented and very tasteful.
Staff are hard working and pleasant, knowledgeable and not shy to recommend a new drink or snack. This venue can get busy so I would suggest calling and booking in advance, especially if in a group to avoid disappointment.
Fabulous menu tastey with good pictures in the gents, helps alot!!. Definatly recomend it for a celebartion and to end the dinner, order the chocolate desert mmmmm.
We went on a Monday with 2 children, so they weren't busy but still plenty of diners. All staff were attentive and helpful. We decided to go all out on our menu choices - the beef and Gloucester cheese pie and the belly pork with a scallop. Both are very tasty.
Visiting from Germany and came here for Sunday Roast! Wonderful food, cosy environment and absolutely fantastic service. James looked after the whole group so well - very cheerful, friendly and helpful. We were a group of 9 including 4 kids and had a fab time. Will definitely be coming back!
OMG! What a fabulous experience! A surprise mid-week dinner to celebrate my birthday. I can't praise Owen and the team, both front of house and in the kitchen, enough - we were exceptionally well looked after and the food was outstandingly good and beautifully presented. Thank you all - definitely 'eleven out of ten'!
11 of us celebrated our friends birthday at this lovely restaurant and the staff could not of been more accommodating. We did have to wait a while for our food but when it came it was delicious and our waitress, Francesca was very attentive to our needs. My one, and only gripe is that there should be more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.
Had a wake for my mums passing, buffet menu was good reasonable priced and good quality food. Service was good perhaps a bit slow setting up when I said I would arrive at 11.15am. Overall very pleased with service.
Derby Arms is such a friendly place,,the food is amazing, the staff are so polite and helpful and they are always smiling and welcoming, I feel so relaxed when we are there, the live music they had today was brilliant, not loud but enough to enjoy and relax with, and the singer and man on guitar where fantastic,,back in 2 weeks time 😃 can't wait!!!! Always enjoy ourselves when we go there,,,whatever we've had to eat there has always been amazing so tasty 😋
On Friday the 21st of July, my family and I had dinner here. Our server was Matt! He was amazing! Helpful, knowledgeable about allergies (my daughter is dairy intolerant) and the food was sooo yummy! Thank you so much Matt, we will be back very soon!
Very nicely decorated, and attentive and friendly staff. Outside seating area had a speaker and music playing which was a nice touch. Impressive menu in principle- didn't taste quite as good as it sounded but was still lovely nonetheless.
Very lovely roast dinner, great service. Pork belly was delicious and a decent selection of drinks on offer. Location does mean you have to drive.
We three ladies had a late lunch sitting outside. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Delicious food, and the best fries and beef dripping sauce. We will be back again in the very near future!
