Tattenham Corner Beefeater

The restaurant is set in the gorgeous scenery of Epsom Downs, although it could be seen from my table. The welcome was good. The food was pleasant - a step up from standard pub food. I had a hallumi bun, which was well constituted. The service was not fast, but the person did well as there were twelve in our group, and we all got the correct food ordered. It is worthwhile going, but reservations are recommended, and be prepared to wait a little once you have ordered.

Last minute decision to eat here, thought it could be busy so I booked online around 10am for 15.30, arrived a little early, and the area around the racecourse was really busy as it had turned into a lovely day, surprisingly the restaurant was fairly quiet about 10 tables occupied when we arrived, took a while to be seated and waiter was very apologetic, he said there could be a little wait for food, but we were in no rush, I have got to say....he was amazing he appeared to be pretty much 'on his own' serving following our arrival several more people arrived after us, so possibly 15 ish tables in all, food came a lot quicker than was expected, husband had received a special offer on phone, so T bone steak was his choice, I had gammon, both cooked to perfection, the waiter kept a check on us although he was incredibly busy, all in all a lovely relaxed meal for us, if not for him, so difficult to estimate customer footfall so short staffing can be a problem, but note to manager....look after that waiter he is worth his weight in gold.

Lovely place 🥰 the garden and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We didn’t eat outside as it was getting late however we definitely come back for a pint. Our waitress Abbie was super friendly and helpful. Service was fast. Everything we ordered was good portion and good food. I would definitely recommend this place!

Me and my friend lunched here on a Saturday and had a wonderful time. We both had steaks with various sides and all the food we had was perfect, we could not fault anything, lovely cocktails and desserts. All the staff were friendly and our waitress Betty did a wonderful job of looking after us, she had good product knowledge served us perfectly and chatted with us. We are definitely going back and next time we will try the burgers

Went here for a late lunch with some friends as one of them had some 40% off main course vouchers! Result! ;) Anyway, I went for the T-bone streak (medium rare) which came with lovely, crispy and fluffy chips, onion rings and the rest! The steak itself was cook absolutely fine and I really enjoyed the meal...especially at that price! It just gets 4 stars as doesn't rate with some of the best steaks I've ever had. That's it. Also try their Sundaes if you have a sweet tooth...and if you can manage one! ;) But definitely worth a visit as the food overall is very good. :)
