Lovely seafood, nicely grilled. We ordered curried mango prawns, scallops, cod cheeks and monkfish. They were all so juicy. Friendly people working there as well.

Visted Friday lunchtime and found outside seating as it was quiet. On a wet day, there are a few tables inside. The service was very good and staff helpful when making our selection. We chose a cold platter (£27) and were so impressed that we followed it with an impressive hot platter (£20). Bread and salad were included. Prices are very competitive when compared to London and Hertfordshire. Get a drink from the pub next door. We will definitely be back.

The food here is so so good (The curry mango prawns were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten) and the service is equally as great. We went on a very miserable, wet day and were made to feel so welcome. Cannot recommend this place enough!

One of the best seafood shacks I've ever been too. Famous mango curried prawns are famous for a reason. Scallops wrapped in pancetta are unreal. And the staff are sound. 10/10.

Stumbled on this place during a walk in Epping forest. There was a long queue and we had to join. The staff was so friendly and had a great atmosphere. The lemon sole was so delicious and the tiger prawn massive. I hope I’ll be back soon

Stopped by today and what a gem of a place in the middle of Epping Forest. We've had seafood at a few London restaurants and they're not even close to the quality we got here and, that's without mentioning the service. Everyone there was chatty, friendly and incredibly welcoming. We can't wait to try some more of the food next time we pass by! Thanks for a great lunch!

It wasn't busy at 11am on Sunday when they opened, so this is a good time to come to avoid the queues. I got the mango curried prawns and scallops in garlic, ginger and chilli. They were both nice but felt portions were tiny for the price.

Excellent selection of seafood options, located next to a pub where you can buy drinks and use their outdoor seating area. The mango prawns were a highlight along with the black pudding, bacon and scallop roll

Went on a whim but found a gem! Such good value for money and you're getting good quality fresh seafood cooked to perfection. The chilli garlic prawns, salt and pepper calamari and the bacon, scallop, black pudding roll were all really delish. Can't wait to go back. Would be an amazing hangover roll. Pub next door to grab a drink and chips too to go with your seafood. And there's a little tuckshop window serving ice cream as well. Great stop off if your having a walk through the forest.
