The place is very relaxed and friendly, the staff are so helpful. Happy atmosphere and a pleasure to visit. The food was excellent and they accommodated our off menu request without hesitation. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back �
Staff were friendly and approachable. And the food was devine... I had the mixed grill and my mum had the tagliatelle.. both meals beautifully presented and were very tasty indeed.. I've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed.. I would highly recommend this place..
Lovely roast in the snug with our pup. Dog & child friendly. Busy restaurant and pub area with a great service, food is home cooked but no long waits. Wish I’d taken a photo of my roast but that thought disappeared once I saw my food 😍 and the apple crumble was yum.
Great food and excellent staff never been let down even booked a table for next night out with friends, Even still going strong been a while since we last been but still good food .

Visited the Plough today for lunch. The service was excellent, even though they were very busy! We were first to arrive at noon but the place soon filled up! The locals obviously know how good this place is. Lovely food, well presented and service with a 😊 smile. So RARE these days. Well done 🤩 Only suggestion we would make is a few more vegan/veggie options. We did manage it because they were obliging, which was appreciated. Vegan ice cream choice which was impressive, an actual choice of flavours. Thank you.
Visited yesterday. Our dog was welcomed first which he loved and then me and my daughter were greeted. Had lunch outside. Easy to order, great staff on hand but not overly intrusive. Food was excellent and arrived quickly. This restaurant is local to us so can’t believe it was our first visit. It certainly won’t be our last.
Fantastic venue, great fun for the kids with the crazy golf, large rear garden for the smaller toddlers to play, can't say enough of how friendly all the staff and the team are. And to put the cherry on the cake fantastic food. Highly recommended.
Very disappointed with the 2 ploughman's we ordered. The platter was half empty with just one very small slice of ham, one small piece of white cheddar and bit of salad. Even the bread was a tiny slice. Looked like they threw it together with bits left. Other 3 meals were good

It was a shame they only had 1 portion of mash left, and this was microwaved.
The haddock and chips were large and tasty.
The outside garden tables were dirty, full of fallen leaves.
It was an OK. Visit and I would go again.
Went here with family some of which were here from Australia. Wow the food was amazing my plough burger was the best burger I've ever eaten the whole table were commenting on the quality of the food. The staff were laid back and very friendly I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will be visiting again.
