Excellent, just had lunch with all my family. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful, the food was superb and the settings is beautiful. All in all and excellent experience. Thank you for looking after us :-)

My teenage son has worked at the Thatched Tavern for some time now, and while I’ve often popped in for a drink, and always received a warm reception from both staff and drinkers in this beautiful dog friendly pub, I’ve never eaten there until yesterday.
Our meal was so good I really do have to leave a review.
I’ve been vegetarian for over 35 years now and so have had more than my share of veggie burgers. But very, very few have been as good as the one we had at the Thatch yesterday. The bun, the burger, the chips and the addition of a chilli jam were all amazing.
The deserts were also amazing too.
My son moves on to new pastures soon, but we’ll all certainly be back as long as Lee and the team are making such amazing food in the kitchen.

Absolutely lovely little pub. Friendly staff. Two of us both had different salads - goats cheese and chicken. Had to try the rosemary chips and garlic greens. All DELICIOUS. Quick service. Bravo. Salads very reasonable prices.

Really old and super nice bar - restaurant.
The beer you want, the service you want and … the food you want.
We were lucky to have a place at the bar and of course a table to eat.
We were there on a Tuesday .. and it was crowded.

What a lovely place. Lovely young lady behind the bar showed great interest in us and our needs. We had a nice drink sitting in the window first before ordering a lovely Lunch. I had the gorgeous Mushroom Soup of the day and my wife had the Whipped Feta choice. Would definitely recommend as everyone is made to feel welcome.

I visited the Thatched Tavern for the first time on the 14th May.
I reserved a table online as I was informed it would be busy.
I did get an acknowledgement that my request had been received but didn't receive confirmation that the table had been reserved, therefore I called to confirm.
The member of staff I spoke with was extremely polite and helpful.
Our table was reserved for 15.30hrs but we arrived early and had a drink in the garden to the rear.
The Sunday menu is quite small but perfectly adequate for what we required.
I was in a party of 4 and all of us agreed unanimously that it was one of the best Sunday lunches that we have ever had.
The prices and portion sizes are fantastic and the service was second to none.
I would like to commend all the staff at the Thatched Tavern on their brilliant service.
Keep up the great work.
We will definitely be back to sample the week day menu.

We had the most beautiful tea and scones after our long walk from the next village. Staff were amazing and the dog even have tea and scones!

Had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. There was a varied menu to choose from which catered for most allergy and dietary requirements. The service was efficient and the food and drink was excellent. Most tables were taken but I didn't feel crowded which was good. I think we will be booking here more often in the future.

Our lunch today was simply amazing. The place, service and food are all faultless. There is a nice green area where you can enjoy the sunshine; in the corner there are two rabbits for the kids biggest enjoyment.
There is also a playground and a decent sized parking lot. The lunch menu is versatile, there is a vegetarian option and the beer is good, too.
Even though we live a bit far (35min by car), we will come back because this was the best pub experience we had for a long time.
