We were travelling a long journey from Bristol and during our stop in Exeter we decided to eat at Meat59.
The staff were extremely kind and they greeted us right away!
Food? Extremely juicy and tasty! Can’t fault anything about it!
Into spicy food? Definitely worth buying their CRAZY hot sauce! Never had something as spicy in the UK before!

Absolutely love Meat 59! We haven’t been in a while, so we’re super keen to check them out at the new premises…. Although I preferred the small building they were in, when foods this great you need a big building to serve the masses!
Food was absolutely spot on! Hands down the best burger in Exeter… and as a gravy loving canadian, thank you so much for having chips and gravy on the menu!!!
They’re dog friendly too!!
Service was impeccable from Kaz ☺️

All I can say is yuuuuuummmm! Went Friday night after looking everywhere for somewhere to eat (7.00pm) everywhere was full. They kindly explained that we could sit down but there was about an hour wait on food but we could place our order and have drinks. Let me tell you.... The food was worth the wait! I had some adjustments to my meal and they were happy to do it for me. Very friendly

Great place if you're looking for locally sourced meat for lush Burguers in Exeter city centre (Princesshay).
We went for dinner with children and they were offered colours and colouring pages whilst we wait, all the staff were really kind, friendly and nice.
I do recommend Meat59 in Exeter 🍔😊.
Photos included: Site decoration (note the location is the same as the old Byron burguerplace), a fricking chicken burguer, kids menu burguer with fries (note adult sides are ordered apart from your burguer, we had sweet potato fries and some french fries with blue cheese sauce, both were fantastic) and a smoking cow burguer.

Lovely venue very friendly staff, food was excellent with great sides selection for the Burgers.

Best burger in Exeter bar none.. had an Alabama Slammer chicken burger and the meat was piping hot and soft. Very flavorful sauce and sweet potato fries were prefect. American style hot sauce dip also great. Fast service , we will definitely return

Great burger and fries, lovely local bottled ciders. Only 4 star because I do feel there is a bit more value owed to the customer given the cost. not including chips or some kind of meal package does raise the price above other local burger places which are slightly better value and quality.
The kids burgers looked very reasonable and looking forward to coming back with the kids.

I’m leaving this review with a 4 star and not a 5 because you have gone down hill. When it was a little restaurant it was unbelievable. The burgers are still very good, and one off the best in Exeter, but I need to be honest your burgers used to be the best in maybe the hole of Devon, and back then the best I have ever eaten. I can’t say for certain what has changed but please find out where the magic has gone.

Really happy we stumbled on this place on a trip to Exeter. Good quality food at pretty reasonable prices, the lunch time special is very good value. Quick and friendly service. Definitely going to go again next time we're in the area.

Amazing breakfast coffee was great and the food was really well presented and all tasted delicious especially the beans, will definitely come back again to try the burgers and rest of the menu.

Best burgers in Exeter, hands down. Their breakfast is amazing too. Great atmosphere and music played too. A very good experience going there, it is how I expect it should be.
