We found this place last night whilst on a uni open day visit. All three of us thought our food was up there with the best we've ever had. The excellent waiter recommended the Sherpa Chicken and Kathmandu Aloo to me - it was truly a wonderful experience. Up there with Tayyaabs in Whitechapel as the best sub-continental restaurant I've eaten in.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Over the years we have hosted 3 charity curry nights here. The owner is more than charitable and he has contributed to the success of our evenings. I personally have eaten here recently and the food is superb! The staff are excellent. 5 stars all round

We’ve become big fans of this restaurant and have followed their success over the years. Wonderful flavours, authentically cooked with care. The chicken swadiloo is a lovely mild dish with mango, almond and coconut, our favourite. They’re happy to adapt dishes to your taste as everything is made to order. Really good handmade samosas too. Proper tandoori clay oven flavours on the tikka dishes. I could list everything we love but you’ll just have to order and see for yourselves just how good this restaurant is! Enjoy!

Wonderful food and service as always, although beer prices a little spenny. Beautiful succulent meat dishes with fantastic flavours. Top notch 👌🏽

Yet again a wonderful meal at this friendly and helpful restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked, the Nepalese dishes in particularly were tasty and subtly spiced. Always a pleasure to go there.

One of the best Nepalese Restaurant I have been so far. The food was delicious and recommend everyone to try Nepali dishes available. Mutton/Goat curry was above the par. Friendly staff and amazing environment.

Best food around. We use The Gurkha Kitchen on a regular basis and the food is always amazing- fresh, quality ingredients. Service is great, friendly helpful staff and the owner Shyam- he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Strongly recommend trying momo, real traditional Nepalese food- my absolute favourite! Highly recommend, we take all of our friends and family here when they visit.

The best Nepalese and Indian food in Exeter by far! The lamb (or veggie) momos are amazing. They’re like steamed gyoza dumplings but with mildly spiced meat and juices that come with a tomato and sesame dip. All home made. Delicious. We eat here often or have their food delivered to us and it’s consistently really good. Lovely people too. Highly recommended!
