A very nice evening! The food was lovely, full of fresh flavours. The food is quite expensive but the service and quality definitely match the price. It was quiet upstairs where we were sat but downstairs had much more atmosphere. Will definitely come back. The prawns in my curry were lovely and soft😋
I love Thai Orchid and go many times through the year, Bonnie, Ron and team always makes us feel welcome. The food is amazing I can highly recommend anything on the menu.

Delicious Thai bento boxes for lunch. Wonderful dessert of vanilla mousse and mango sorbet. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back in the future!
We have been going to the Thai Orchid for a few years now. It's our favourite place in Exeter. Highly recommended for romantic dinners. Food is great, typical Thai food (equal to food tried in Thailand) and, if you take the menu, be aware it comes with large portions, which is always good. :-) Bonnie (the fantastic owner) is welcoming and knows how to look after her clients. We appreciate her attention to details and passion for good food and for her business. Ronnie, her partner, is a lovely companion perfect for public relationship during a busy evening. It's always a pleasure to see them at the Thai Orchid.

Never been to Thailand, but we've been to some very good Thai restaurants in London and San Francisco and this was up there with the best. We were in Exeter for 7 days and visited Thai Orchid twice for dinner. We read some good reviews and decided to check it out. Nice table by the window, friendly hostess and servers, really extensive menu. First time there we had an assortment of satay skewers for starters, followed by chicken and prawn dishes. Great taste at a reasonable price, so we came back a second time. This time we tried chicken and mushroom soup, beef curry, stir fried pork and sea bass. Everything was tasty and seasoned nicely without too much spiciness. Loved it.
Ordered lunch set menu. The portion is generous 😃 good quality of food and nice service !
Lovely food, really friendly helpful staff, couldn’t fault it, definitely recommend and will be back.
