The Terrace Rooftop

Went on my birthday, October 6th, Cherry was absolutely wonderful, very good at her job, courteous, helpful, informative and happy 😊. My food was delicious, seafood, my daughters had burgers, the chicken was good, the beef not so good. Cocktails were great always love a 2-4-1. Will I come again... yes I definitely will.

Can't believe it took me so long to finally try out this place. The food is amazing, cocktails even better, and the atmosphere is perfect. The actual terrace overlooked the cathedral and the guildhall shopping centre. The prices (while high) are fully justified, in my opinion. The only problem I had is that the waiting staff did not clean our table quickly enough. It kept clogging up with empty plates and glasses. Cannot wait to visit again!

The girls that helped me today were absolutely amazing. I had ordered a burger and when it came out the bread was slightly mouldy, they immediately took it back and remade it, they then let us have them on the house. This was incredible service and I am so thankful for them for making my experience incredible. Thank you

First visit (Feb 2023): my first visit here was excellent (5 stars). The pork roast was delicious and so were the cocktails. We all had a great evening thank you! Second visit (July 2023): my second visit was generally a good visit but a bit disappointing (3 stars). I went here after my graduation with my family. They gave me a free glass of Prosecco which was very nice. The table we were put on was high up and we were all sat around half of it which was a bit weird and felt like you were looking down on everyone else. It also wasn’t that easy to talk to each other as you weren’t opposite each other. The food was ok but the crab bisque tasted absolutely disgusting. We told the waitress and she said she had tried it and said it tasted fine but 5 of us tasted it and all thought it was horrible. Thankfully they were very kind and took it off the bill along with 1 dessert. I hope the chefs learn to taste their food as they’re cooking! The cocktails were still great and service was also good.
