It's the first time we have been here, And we are glad we did what a lovely place. The coffee and the chocolate cake we had was yummy 😋😍. The service was excellent second to none. This local cafe is lovely and friendly. There are plenty of tables and the food has always been very good. The only down sides are you can only pay with cash, and there are only 2 high chairs! I really struggled trying to feed my daughter and myself on my own when both high chairs were in use. Otherwise it's great and my first choice to go to eat.

I love this place situated above Superdrug . The food is great and cooked as required. Extensive menu of traditional dishes at reasonable prices. They only take cash though so go prepared. The toilets could do with a referb.

A great little place that seems a little off the beaten track which makes it nice and quiet but it is actually right in the centre with nice views and pretty reasonable food on offer. It is not modern but it is clean and welcoming and offers what you expect from a general cafe. They only take cash which hopefully does not put people off. I much prefer coming here than going to a giant, faceless multinational company!

I can't fault the service or food however the place hasn't been updated since the 80s and I detect a hint of financial problems cash only? If I could change one thing it would be the blackboards outside the door they are too small to read at any distance the words "CAFÉ" in big bold lettering would generate more traffic than the current effort

Love it in here. Very big. Bare in mind that you aren't going to get expensive gourmet food here. But what you will get is cooked to order proper food. Large menu and great selection of cakes ect. We stop in here every time we go shopping in exeter. A proper British cafe. All the staff are great too and we are always made to feel welcome at all times.

Love this place. Classic English cafe serving all manor of good grub and thirst quenching drink. The staff are lovely the food is a good portion size, good quality and good value. My favourite Exeter cafe.
