What can I say, the food is like all other GBK's. What sets this one apart is the location, right in the middle of town and with huge glass windows it's a great spot in the evening to chow down and people watch. The restaurant is well furnished and has a cool atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Would definitely recommend popping in every now and then to grab a good burger and an oreo milkshake.

Very good restaurant with excellent food and drinks. (The vanilla milkshake is to die for) food is of utmost quality and has always been delivered in a respectable time. Staff are very friendly and chatty to customers to make everyone feel welcome. I will certainly be a regular to GBK.

As usual, GBK delivered a high standard of burger at the Exeter branch. Never disappointed when I visit Gourmet Burger Kitchen. The Peanut Butter Milkshakes are particularly awesome!

Tasty food from a varied menu. A bit on the pricey side for a burger and "gourmet" may be pushing the envelope a bit Excellent app available so you can order whilst sat at your table via your smartphone/tablet. Clean and tidy and the atmosphere had a good buzz about it. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy something a bit more special than a Big Mac

Got recommended by friends and when we went, it was well worth it. This was thanks to the lovely staff and great customer service we were provided. I have to say though the thin fries were absolutely delightful and I will definitely be returning again soon.

Hot-dikity (?) burger was very tasty and filling! The ambience and clientele (that I saw) was young and chatty which was enjoyable. When you arrive, ur shown to a table and when uv chosen from a menu you order (and pay for) ur food and drink at that point. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend it.

This was truly amazing but never been here before friends recommended it and glad we went. The staff were really good were really kind and helpful. I was Miss charged when I went here and they dealt with it straight away and sorted it out with no problems. Great deals via the app. Just give it a go try it you'll never know ***** 5 stars

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience! My husband ordered my burger medium and I couldn't eat it so they made me another well done as quick as they could, I really appreciated it. The food is tasty and good portion size. I would definitely go back!

The place is nice, the food is tasty, however the atmosphere is not the best. I was there only once and cannot say if it is always that way, but it was hard to concentrate and chill when on the left side I heard calm quiet music, whilst to the left pop music was blasting from the kitchen. I understand that the chefs want to listen to music as well, but when you have an open kitchen you should think of the customers as well as yourself. The burgers come on their own, you have to pay extra 3-4 pounds for any sides. My burger, fries and a coke added up to 15 quid.

This is a fantastic burger joint, although the Gourmet Burger App does not work for take aways at this venue (not when I have gone to use it at time of writing). The venue is very clean and the staff are friendly. I had a ninja burger which had black buns and I was not sure if they had burnt it, but it was supposed be like that and tasted amazing. It can get very busy and providing you don't get positioned on the really small 2 seater table the experience is awesome. (You can ask to move and the staff are very helpful in accommodating you). I would recommend this for all burger lovers and I am still waiting for the take away function on the app which I for one will use.
