If you are looking for a beautifully cooked, tasty and affordable lunch, Circa 1924 is the place to go. The lunch menu is small but you can be confident that everything will be lovely. The young lady serving was very pleasant and accommodating. ...The best bit was that pretty much everything on the menu was either gluten free or could be adapted...such a treat for people with wheat allergies....absolutely lovely. Two courses for £10-95 (lunch) bur obviously we found room for dessert �

The staff are fantastic with a very good standard of customer service. It was my birthday celebration and they decorated a plate of petit fours with Happy Birthday written in white chocolate sauce. Great free music. Lovely prosecco. The four side vegetable dishes for £12 is excellent. I recommend the vegetable tempura. Pickles. And breads. All of the food we had was perfect. The dessert with edible flowers was divine. Nice decor and comfortable yet formal atmosphere. It's a good balance of class and casual. So anyone can enjoy a visit to the restaurant. Cocktails looked amazing. We did not try them but honestly they looked beautiful. Well worth a visit :-D :-) I'm glad I chose Circa 1924 to celebrate my birthday.

We had a voucher from my partners son. We booked for lunch and sat in the court yard. We had pink fizz and a cuvee to start along with olives and the olive oil toasted sourdough was sublime. We chose 6 tapas style dishes, they were all delicious along with a glass of their red and white wine to accompany them, it was so good that my partner proposed and I said yes ❤️

We came at 2pm for a lunch with some friends today. The service , food and wine were all absolutely exceptional. The food is incredible - not pretentious and absolutely delicious. All the staff were very knowledgeable on the food and wine. Our first time here and we will be back soon. 10/10. Wine lovers - the wine is young and this is the start of an exceptional journey of English wine. Even the young 2022 wine is full of subtle character. Incredible.

Potentially bias as my boyfriend is a chef here but can genuinely say the most beautiful place to come and have a meal. Everything made on site, gorgeous interior design and service. Had a meal today with 5 others and all thoroughly enjoyed the menu. Everything is locally produced, or made on site. The winery is definitely worth a visit too :) Also gorgeous animals on the estate, see the cows below!

The venue is beautiful in fabulous surrounding countryside,just the place for a birthday lunch.. The food was delicious but we found the menu a little daunting. The staff were excellent,very helpful, couldn't do enough for us. A very unique experience which I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Really nice lunch at Circa Sandridge Barton the home of Sharpham wine. You can have a wine tour / tasting and then enjoy lunch at Circa. Portions aren’t massive but food was tasty.

Modern fine dining restaurant with smartly thought out design and exciting menu. We had a set three course menu - vegetarian and pescatarian options . Ideas behind each dish are bright, fresh and novel. However mushroom on toast lacked depth of flavour. Beetroot and Jerusalem artichoke in Risotto dish needed more texture and caramelisation. All in all very lovely place and exciting team. Will be following your culinary journey.

Amazing. Simply the best place to eat in Exeter. Staff, food, wine..all excellent. Went to try the tasting menu. 7 courses of gorgeous. I love this place :)

Nice quiet little place out of the way of the busy city. The food was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection, no complaints there at all. However the service was a bit slow, they were super apologetic for any delays and promised a drink on the house for the wait but when the bill came I noticed it hadn't been taken off but I didn't feel I should bring it up. All in all my partner and I had a great anniversary there, would recommend.
