I’ve used this place many times to get whatever I need. Unlike most game stores, Imperial Games aren’t pushy, and you don’t feel pressured into buying something every time you walk in. However, with everything having really good discounts, it’s hard not to get anything from here. The staff are incredibly friendly, and will always help with any issue or question you have. If they don’t have anything you’re looking for, they can order it online for you, and it almost always arrives quicker than expected. Imperial Games always goes above and beyond to help you, and they make a very warm and welcoming experience for you, even if you’re stepping in for the very first time.

Would've been 5 stars if we'd been allowed to use the toilet Great shop with loads of stock. Nice gaming area with good terrain. Polite staff. However, we were there for a whole days gaming and weren't allowed to use the toilet. We had to go to John Lewis' (down the road and up four flights of stairs). What made this worse is that I suffer with IBS. My son told me on the way home that not long after we'd been to JL to use the toilets he needed to go again and was holding on for over two hours so we could continue our games. Although I get this for shop customers I think it's a bit unfair if you're there to game. I'm just glad I could leave my army with someone I could trust and wasn't play a complete stranger. Otherwise an awesome shop to visit.

Just popped in for some paints today because GW was further away and I hadn't been in. Lovely vibe/atmosphere, friendly staff and they seem to have everything you could want for. Will definitely be popping in more often. Edit: I've been back a few times, always helpful and friendly. Put the Friendly in FLGS. 👍

Excellent store. The shop is spacious, has painting stations, gaming tables for both wargames and card games. There is even some consoles at the back. They offer food in the way of snacks and hot food (at specific times) and also hot and cold drinks. The staff have always been super welcoming and friendly and have been willing to check up rules when we've forgotten our books. The atmosphere in there is good natured.

I've been looking for a new store since my local indy unfortunately shut down. Found these guys via Google and thoroughly impressed. The website is comprehensive and relatively easy to navigate. Couldn't find the opening hours but they're on Google so no biggie. Store is a good size, nicely laid out, well located with decent transport and parking very nearby. The membership scheme is so simple it's brilliant. Not like other places where you get 1 billionth of the value of the closest orbiting stars weight in feathers off every 3rd Sunday, as long as you promise your firstborn man child. Instead it's a one off membership fee for an extra 5% discount. Perfect! Shop prices are competitive and comparable. I ordered some items that weren't in stock. Delivery date and the updates were accurate and my stock arrived on time as promised. The staff were friendly, even to a complete stranger like me. Some places can be quite cliquey, Not here, it's all good. The Sunday opening hours seemed a bit strange at 1st, but then you realise they're open 75% of the rest of the week and that strangeness goes away. Everyone deserves some time off. I can't fault it.
