Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! What a lovely restaurant. Food was delicious and quickly provided. Service was friendly and attentive! Portion size were a great size. This is going to become a regular when visiting Exeter! Utterly fab! The garlic rice and Lamb Podina….. please can I have the recipe?
We chose this Nepalese restaurant to celebrate my dad's birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The excellent service provided by the staff, their attention to detail, and their warm wishes for my dad's special day made it even more memorable. The food was truly delicious, bringing authentic Nepalese flavours to our table. It was a fantastic place for a family celebration. We left with smiles and full bellies! Highly recommend!
Lovely meal this evening at Everest. We ordered succulent Napalese curries, tandoori and lots of sides. Everything was so fresh delicious and the service was great. I’d go there just for the dumplings, which were especially delicious. This was a birthday celebration meal and the service was excellent throughout. We will be back!
Only two couples in, which was a pity as it is a great restaurant.
Staff were courteous, food was tasty and not too hot, which is what I was after, wide range of food available.
Music stopped staff and other guests hearing your every word!
Lots of takeaways/ deliveries ordered while we were there, which was good, as the food is so good. Just what I was after.
This place deserves an all around 5 stars from me. Food, service and ambience
I had seafood curry (fish and prawns) and it was exceptionally tasty. It's the best Indian seafood (fish) curry I have ever had. Do check out my photos- look at how big the prawns were. This is also uncommon in normal indian restaurants.
I asked the owner the difference between their fish and seafood curry - the fish curry also comes with prawns but with coconut.
I am someone who doesn't like excess grease on my plate and for me it's usually a problem having Indian curry. But this seafood curry is perfect - not greasy at all perfect spice level and seasoning. I ate up the whole thing without any sauce left for the first time in an Indian restaurant. The mixed vegetable side was great too.
The owner was very friendly too.
I had an enjoyable evening. I surely will return when I visit Exeter next.
When I read the reviews I was a bit put off by some non authentic comments but I was so glad I went there in the end. I've never tried goan fish curry in India but I did experienced food in other parts of India and I do know my seafood. For me it doesn't matter if it's authentic, it matters a lot whether the food tastes good.
Highly recommended! Must try their seafood curry
Amazing food and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We tend to get the food as takeaway and we have tried many places around Exeter and beyond. This is the best place for Nepalese/Indian food that we have tried and we keep coming back for more! Thank you!!
Placed a takeaway order for collection, which was ready at the time they said it would be. Ordered Everest chicken and pahadi chicken, both really tasty with a nice bit of heat. Would recommend.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the area, and it was lovely! Really friendly people and food was beautiful , nice and hot and full of flavour! If we come back through Exeter we will definitely be back.
We had it delivered to Topsham. Friendly driver. The food was very delicious. Lots of nice blended vegetables in the sauce, not just a generic sauce with dry spices. Chicken was tasty as well. Will order again.
I think we may have found our new go-to Indian/Nepalese restaurant/takeaway. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door and sat down with a coke for the short time it took to get my order ready. The food was fantastic quality and plenty to go around. Also the bhajis were some of the best I'd had and the naan bread was superb. We're going to enjoy going through the menu on future visits. Well worth a visit I'd recommend to anyone..
