The Deck Restaurant

We popped in for coffee and brunch, and it was delicious! Seriously world-class coffee, breakfast was amazing and the staff were awesome. Be aware that it’s a dog-friendly restaurant, mind. The place was peaceful apart from the yapping a few tables down - and it doesn’t bother me, but it might bother you.

We spent half the day here for my son's birthday and had a wonderful time! Firstly the location is fantastic on the sea front, there are lovely views from the soft play area on the second floor. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We began the day with bowling, the atmosphere was great. There is also a small games arcade and sweet shop next to it! (Payment by card only) We continued upstairs to the soft play, the area is huge with plenty of seating. We ended up staying for 2 hours and ordered lunch - absolutely love the ordering from your phone to the table service - the food was tasty and there was lots to choose from (even for fussy eaters) A great day had by all! The only gripe would be the car parking situation. It's very expensive nearby and during the school holidays it is near impossible to find a spot.

We had our wedding at Ocean in September 2023 and had a perfect day!!! Jimi, Sandra and the rest of the Ocean team worked so hard throughout the whole day and everything ran very smoothly. Our guests commented throughout the day just how fantastic the Ocean team were!!! The food was also great. We went for the more relaxed bbq option and our guests loved this. Prior to the wedding day, communication with Sandra and Jimi was really good. They helped make sure everything we wanted was put in place. Thank you so much again, we really did have the best day of our lives! Mrs and Mrs Smith :)

Visited to bowl as was half the price of the national ten pin bowling chain in Exeter. Decor is great and very clean. Great layout. We played 2 games have some soft drinks slushes and milkshakes. Dining area looked great but we didn't eat there. Would recommend for any families on rainy day. We also played few games in the sega arcade and I believe they have soft play up stairs but we didn't have time the sun came out and we went to the beach.

Visited 18/6/23. Lovely beach front establishment, with plenty to do. Is like a multiplex with soft play for children, amusements, a pub/bar that serves food and drinks of all manners. The whole front of the bar is open so it's lovely and airy, fantastic for a nice drink looking over the view. I enjoyed and would go back.
