It's a nice pub with nice atmosphere and good service. Plenty of space inside and outside. Also it's possible to leave your car overnight if you had too much drink๐คฃ๐คฆ

I had the Sunday carvery which was great. Good yorkshires and mash.
The carvery is pre-made rather than self serve.
The staff were lovely and very helpful.

We really enjoy the Millgate for its friendliness and overall atmosphere. The food is high quality and the sunday carvery is brilliant. They tend to have deals on other food options too so itโs a good choice for food with the family. The wine is good and the staff are friendly.

Over from Spain to see family and phoned in to book a table for eight originally, however there was twelve of us. There was no problem accommodating us all even though they were very busy. Our waitress Jemma (hope the spelling is right) was absolutely brilliant and got everything perfect .Thanks to all at the Millgate excellent food and service 100% recommended by us๐

We had my mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary here and the place was great. Neat and tidy, a little bit expensive but that's the same everywhere.

We've been coming here as a family for years. The service is always fast and friendly and the Sunday carvery is spot on!
The foods always hot and fresh. Firm family favourite.
The team put on family events through out the year and these always go down well with my two children. Would recommend.
The venue catered for my dad's funeral towards to the end of lock down. This was handled well and in line with (then) guidelines with respect and professionalism by the staff on that day. For this we was very thankful

We came here for my mum's birthday on 3rd August and had a lovely visit. The staff were really welcoming, especially Lewis who served us behind the bar and Grace, our waitress, who couldn't do any more to help. We ordered a meal (I had the prawn and chorizo linguini) and was highly impressed! Lovely food and staff - would highly recommend!
